Example: TUTORIALS (Course Name)GoLive Versions 5.0 and 6.0
GOLIVE BASICSFILE MANAGEMENT:To keep track of your web images and web pages, it is important that each student save their essays and image files into their Team folder. If the image files and GoLive pages are not in the same folder, the image files will not be moved onto the web site server along with the pages. This will break the links between the images and the web pages and when the Web site is launched, no images will appear on the pages.
BUILDING WEB PAGES:Student teams must save images and web pages and essays in the Team web folders. Folders are named with Team topic and saved to the class file server in a Master Site Folder named Pioneer History. All students’ images are corrected and sized in Photoshop Elements, and saved to their Teams’ folder.
USING GOLIVE1. Open GoLivea. A new web page should automatically appear.
(IF THIS DOES NOT HAPPEN)
b. Click and Hold to Pull Down the File Menu and select New. A page with a blue bar at the top will appear. In the blue bar there will be a page symbol and the word untitled.html. This is your new, empty web page.
c. Look at the lower Right Corner of the Web Page. You will see a small window with numbers. Click on the downward arrow. When the window opens select the 580 (14”). This will resize your web page to the smallest possible screen size which will insure that it can be seen on the smaller screens often found in schools.
