Monthly Medal Tournament Dates:

Scoring Format:

Stableford Points

Winner:

A monthly winner will be declared based on the highest number of

Stableford points

Monthly Medal Champion:

This will be based on the highest cumulative Stableford points acquired over every

stage of the monthly medal round (The best 7 out of 10 will

be considered).

In case of a tie:

• The monthly winner will be decided over a count back from 18 to 1 • The Monthly

Medal Champion will be decided by the total number of wins. In case of a tie, the

total number of wins will be considered and if there is still a tie then second places

will be considered. In the event that there is still a tie, points from the last round

will be used to determine a winner.

All prior Back on Black championship winners as well as last years club

champion must participate in the Back on Black tournament final.

The winner of this final will be declared the new Back on Black Champion.

* Club Champion gets a freespot in the finals

In case of a tie:

The monthly winner will be decided over a count back from 18 to 1 • The Back

on Black Champion will be determined by the points earned in the last round; if

there is a tie, a count back from hole # 18 will be used

In case of a tie:

There will be count back based on how many points the players earned

from 18 to 1.

More about the format:

Players will receive a negative quota of points called a, “hurdle,” based on their

handicap. Scratch handicaps receive -39 points, a one handicap will receive -38

points, a two handicap will receive -37 points and so on until a 32 handicap

(A 32 handicap gets -7 points). Based upon their performance, players will receive

positive points as follows:

Bogey = 1 point

Pars = 2 points

Birdies = 4 points

Eagles = 8 points

A player that clears their hurdle first with the most number of points wins.

Pink Ball

Tees: Scoring Format:

Men – Blue Women - Red Stableford

Winner:

The combined Stableford points of both the pink ball on each hole and

a partners scored points.

In case of a tie:

There will be a count back based on how many points the players earned

from 18 to 1.


Two player teams where the players alternate between using a pink ball on

each hole. A combination of Stableford points with the pink ball and a partner’s

points will count towards the team score. If a team looses the pink ball, they

must terminate their round on that particular hole.

The players must sign up with a partner • There must be a minimum of 8 teams

for this competition

Scoring Format:

Stroke Play

Winner:

The furthest flag wins.

In case of a tie:

The closest to the 18th hole wins


In a flag tournament, each player receives a certain number of strokes – the

course par plus two-thirds of the players handicap. A 15 handicap would get 82

strokes. If he then plays 82 shots (by the rules of golf and stops, planting a flag

on the spot where his 82nd shot landed.

Chapman Scoring Format Dates:

Scoring Format:

Stableford

Winner:

The team with the maximum points wins.

In case of a tie:

The closest one to the hole wins.


A two person team competition with both team members teeing off, then

switching balls. Player A plays player B’s drive and vice-versa. Then they select

the best of the second shots, and from that point until the ball is holed out they

play only one ball in an alternate shot format. That means after the second shot

the team chooses the best second shot and play alternate shots from there till

the ball is holed out.

Players must sign up in teams, with a partner • There must be a minimum of 6

teams for this competition

Individual Modified Stableford

Winner:

The player with the maximum number of Stableford points wins

In case of a tie:

There will be a count back starting from hole # 18 to 1.


Each player will get 3/4th of their handicap – this will be used as their basic

points earned. After which, a player will get Stableford points on their gross

score – 1 for bogie, 2 for par, 3 for birdie and so on.

The total of the 3/4th handicap and Gross Stableford points earned will

be considered the players total score.

The Devil’s Comp - 666

Dates:

March 23rd • June 8th

Scoring Format:

2 player teams – Best Ball, Scramble & Alternate shot (Stroke Play)

Winner:

The team with the least number of strokes will be deemed the winner.

In case of a tie:

There will be a count back starting from hole # 18 to 1.


Each team will get 3/4th of their total handicaps. The team plays the first 6

holes as best ball, the second 6 holes as Scramble and the 3rd 6 holes

as alternate shot.

Other Information:

There must be a minimum of 8 teams for this competition.

• The players must sign up with a partner.

Prestige Masters Par 3 Competition Dates:

Individual Stroke Play

Winner:

Player with the minimum number of strokes after 18 holes.

In case of a tie:

There will be a count back starting from hole # 18 to 1, in case of a tie, the

player with the most birdies will be considered.


Individual stroke play gross scores.

Other Information:

Registration closes 2 weeks prior to the event. • Upon registration, tournament

fees (non refundable) must also be submitted • A 20 player minimum is required

for this event.

Club and the Stableford points of both the player and the professional will be

added up to create a team total.

Club Champion

The club Champion will be declared over a series of points earned for every

tournament they complete.

The table below shows the following:

• If participating in any National Amateur event as a member of the Prestige

Golfshire Club, the player will receive points based on their finish as per the

annual event.

• Team Match Play events (Prestige Cup – Ryder Cup Style Event); being a part

of the winning team each player receives 4 points for a team win, and for every

match won by the individual player, they receive 2 points.

Entries: Participants will drop the registration forms at the Golf Shop with the

entry fee. Entry/registration fees are non-refundable. Prestige Golfshire Club

reserves the right to reject any application that, in its sole discretion, is incomplete

or not compliant with the terms and conditions of Prestige Golfshire Club, or is

otherwise ineligible. Openings for each event is limited and will be assigned on a

first come, first served basis at the time of reservation.

Prestige Golfshire Club is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected or otherwise

undeliverable mail, entries that cannot be processed due to a phone, network,

electronic or computer hardware or software failure, or technical failure of any

kind. Entries must be received before the deadline. Any entries received on/after

the deadline will not be considered.

Event Cancellation & Inclement Weather Policy: Events can be rescheduled.

Teams registered for events that are cancelled for any reason will be offered

the opportunity to play another day. Entry fees will not be refunded under any

circumstances.

Terms for Submission of Entry: Player registering to enter these events agrees to

the Official Rules. All registrants agree to Prestige Golfshire terms and conditions.

By entering these Tournaments, I agree to receive emails from Prestige Golfshire

Club regarding the event, i.e. tee times, and other tournament updates.
