Brief History

● 2007 : Ken Thompson, Robert Greismer, Rob Pike, wrote their goals of a new language.

● 2008: Ken Thompson started development of a compiler, Ian Taylor made a GCC-based compiler for Go.

● 2009 : In November, Go has been published as an open source project.
