TAKE A LOOK AT THE FOLLOWING STATS :
In India more than 14000 students commit suicide every
year*
Research proves that 80% of the students are under
stress
The same research states that parents are a key reason for
this
NEED FOR INTELLIGENCE ASSESSMENTNEED FOR INTELLIGENCE ASSESSMENT
ALSO CONSIDER THIS :
1. On an average, a parent spends around Rs. 8 lacs on the education of their child for simple graduation (from 1st to Graduation) without even being 10% sure whether this is being spent in the right direction
2. As per a report in TOI, 46% students change their subjects in graduation from what they did in their 10+2. This does not include the dropouts who quit after 10+2.
3. On an average, 38 students commit suicide EVERYDAY due to education/exam related stress. And these are just the reported figures.

BRAINBRAIN
AND THE 3 BASIC DIVISIONSAND THE 3 BASIC DIVISIONS
REPTILIAN BRAIN (The Brain Stem)
Controls many basic functions including breathing, heart rate, and instinct etc. Also controls other primitive instincts--your sense of territory.
It helps explain why anger is difficult to control because it is often a result either of feeling threatened or of someone trying to take away something you think is yours.
THE MAMMALIAN BRAIN
(The Limbic System)
• Controls your hormones, thirst, hunger, metabolism, immune function, and important part of long-term memory.
• This part of our brain that controls emotions also controls health.
Emotion
MemoryHealth
THE THINKING BRAIN (Neocortex)
HANDLES SEEING, HEARING, CREATING, THINKING, TALKING AND ALL HIGHER INTELLIGENCES.
THE PART OF BRAIN THAT MAKES US MOST HUMAN, THAT MAKES HUMANS A UNIQUE SPECIES.
Human prefrontal lobes exercise judgment, planning, and higher order thinking. Since this area also linked strongly to limbic system it is also where we develop compassion, altruism, and a sense of justice.
It is the thinking brain that has given human being the capacity of adaptation.

Dr. Roger W. Sperry
In 1960, Dr. Roger W. Sperry and his colleagues carried out a studies on Left and Right hemisphere phenomena.
The results of this study later led to Roger Sperry being awarded the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 1981.
The study demonstrated that the left and right hemispheres are specialized in different tasks.
Further, in 1986, Dr. Rita Levi_Montalcini and Dr. Stanley Cohen were awarded the Nobel Prize for their ground-breaking research which established the co-relation between Nerve Growth Factor and Epidermal Growth Factor which forms the scientific basis of the study of Dermatoglyphics in its present form.

Also, it claims that EVERYONE IS INTELLIGENT IN AT EVERYONE IS INTELLIGENT IN AT LEAST EIGHT DIFFERENT WAYS LEAST EIGHT DIFFERENT WAYS and can develop each aspect of intelligence to an average level of competency. Intelligence, as defined by Gardner, is the ability to solve problems or fashion products that are valuable in one or more cultural settings.
Howard Gardner
The theory of multiple intelligences is Howard Gardner’s theory that proposes that people are not born with all of the intelligence they will ever have. It says that intelligence can be learned throughout life.

SPATIAL INTELLIGENCESPATIAL INTELLIGENCE
Spatial intelligence is the brain’s ability to perceive and interpret visual stimuli. In other words, it’s how our minds process what we see. Although not very recognized, spatial intelligence is very important in the arts and in everyday life.
WHY IS SPATIAL INTELLIGENCE WHY IS SPATIAL INTELLIGENCE IMPORTANT ?IMPORTANT ?
The way we visually perceive and interpret the world around us is an important quality to have. In arts, the ability to transfer a vision to a painting, sculpture, or film is a key quality. Careers such as architecture, require a person to transfer a vision of a structure into a blueprint. Spatial intelligence is even used by average people to remember small, but important facts; like how to travel from your school to your house.
Spatial Intelligence is basically the understanding of :
Shape/Design Color Distance Speed
Sketch
Mental Image
Strong Visual Memory
Sense of Direction
Hand-eye co-ordination
Space
Distance
Measurement
Photography
Imagination
Visualization
These people are visionary and often are lost in their own thought, ideas and imagination.

INTERPERSONAL INTELLIGENCE
Intrapersonal intelligence is self-knowledge and the ability to act adaptively on the basis of that knowledge. This intelligence includes having an accurate picture of oneself (one’s strengths and weaknesses); awareness of inner moods, intentions, motivations, temperaments, and desires. It is also characterized by the capacity for self-discipline, self-understanding and self-esteem. People with high Intrapersonal intelligence are generally seen as perfectionists

LEARNING STYLESLEARNING STYLES
Each one of us is a unique individual in terms of how our brain is designed, formatted and how the lobes are interconnected. This results in our preferences towards the learning style and the dislikes or being uncomfortable with certain others
While it is important to note that we have a preferred learning style, more often than not, the learning style in practice would be a combination of two or more styles.
Use color, layout, and spatial organization in your associations, and use many 'visual words' in your assertions. Examples include see, picture, perspective, visual, and map.
Use mind maps. Use color and pictures in place of text, wherever possible. Make sure you have different color pens.
Systems diagrams can help you visualize the links between parts of a system, for example major engine parts or the principle of sailing in equilibrium. Replace words with pictures, and use color to highlight major and minor links.
The visual journey or story technique helps you memorize content that isn't easy to 'see.' The visual story approach for memorizing procedures is a good example of this.
Peg at least the first to words and events come easily to you, however you need to spend some time learning at en peg words. Afterwards, your ability to visualize helps you peg content quickly.
If you use a physical style, use touch, action, movement and hands-on work in your learning activities.
For assertions and scripting, describe the physical feelings of your actions.
Use physical objects such as flashcards as much as possible. Physically touch objects as you learn about what they do.
Keep in mind as well that writing and drawing diagrams are physical activities, so don't neglect these techniques.
Use breathing and relaxation to focus your state while you learn and perform. Focus on staying calm, centered, relaxed and aware.
Use role-playing, either singularly or with someone else, to practice skills and behaviors
Use sound recordings to provide a background and help you get into visualizations. For example, use a recording of an aircraft engine running normally, playing loudly via a headset, to practice flight procedures.
When creating mnemonics or acrostics, make the most of rhythm and rhyme, or set them to a jingle or part of a song.
Use the anchoring technique to recall various states that music invokes in you. If you have some particular music or song that makes you want to 'take on the world,' play it back and anchor your emotions and state.
Focus on the rhythm and tone of the content you are trying to learn either through a lecture or on your own. At the time of recall, the rhythm is what comes more easily to you hence creating a recall for the original associated matter much easier.
If you are an auditory learner, use sound, rhyme, and music in your learning. Focus on using auditory content in your association and visualization.
1. COGNITIVE : You are self-centered, self-understanding, self-conscious, independent, innovative and like to discover new things on your own.
2. IMITATIVE : You are an imitation learner, and your greatest advantages are your creativity and flexibility.
3. REVERSE THINKER : Your way of thinking often differs from others, showing a different viewpoint from the mainstream.
4. REFLECTIVE / OPEN LEARNERS : You incline to familiar interpersonal relations and substantial Goals.

DERMATOGLYPHICS
Its reveals the congenital links between our fingers and our intrinsic qualities and talents. With these test of your known talents and intelligences, you can best be translated into education, personal and career success. By knowing these potentials earlier, you make effort to enhance and train your weaknesses so that learning is most pleasurable and effective.
THE SCIENCE OF DERMATOGLYPHICS
Further, in 1986, Dr. Rita Levi_Montalcini and Dr. Stanley Cohen were awarded the Nobel Prize for their ground-breaking research which established the co-relation between Nerve Growth Factor and Epidermal Growth Factor which forms the scientific basis of the study of Dermatoglyphics in its present form.
Dr. Rita Levi-Montalcini and
Dr. Stanley Cohen
No two persons in the world have the same fingerprint and gene
So we may conclude that a fingerprint is an external display of gene and brain structure
Everyone is blessed with talents but not all the talents, making best use of the inborn talent thereby being aware of the weaknesses, is the purpose of Dermatoglyphics Multiple Intelligence Test
DERMATOGLYPHICS - FACTS The study of fingerprints emerged way back in the year
1788.
Dermatoglyphics refers to the branch of science which studies the patterns of skin (dermal) ridges present on human fingers, toes and the soles
The dermal ridges i.e. finger prints begin to form around the 13th week of gestation and develops completely by the end of the 21st week, and then remain invariable.
Each one’s Dermatoglyphics pattern is unique and unalterable
DERMATOGLYPHICS - FACTS Dermatoglyphics pattern is accepted as Diagnostic
tool over the past 20 years and has been extended into public research field as a dominant science
It reveals the congenital links between our fingers and our intrinsic qualities i.e. Our Strengths & Weaknesses
By knowing these potentials earlier, one can make effort to enhance and train his/her own strengths so that learning becomes most pleasurable and effective
Doctor Harold Cummins, M.D. is universally acknowledged as the Father of ‘Dermatoglyphics’
INTELLIGENCES - LEARNING CURVE
FINGERPRINTSo Fingerprints of a human being begins to
develop in the 13th week of its embryo stage and are completed in 21st week
o It is during this same time that a critical growth of the brain is taking place in fetus.
o Fingerprints remain unchanged in individuals through his/her Life time
FINGERPRINT CLASSIFICATION
Basic Types:
Type Ratio Loop 45 -48 % Whorl 45 % Arch 7-8% Accidental 1.07%
LOOP FINGERPRINT STUDYo LOOP - The ridges flow inward
and then re-curve in the direction of the origin. A single delta type divergence must be present in front of the re-curving ridges
o Radial Loop - Ridges flow from the re-curve toward the radius or thumb side of the hand (approximately 5% of all fingerprint patterns)
o Ulnar Loop - Friction ridges flow from and re-curve toward the ulna or little finger side of the hand, (Approximately 60% of all fingerprint patterns)
RADIAL
ULNAR
ULNAR Loop (Pointing
towards little finger)
Radial Loop (Pointing
towards thumb)
ARCH FINGERPRINT STUDY
o ARCH - Ridges enter on one side of the impression and tend to flow out the other side with a rise in the center
o Plain Arch - Ridges enter, wave or rise and exit smoothly
o Tented Arch - Ridges in the center thrust upward to give an appearance similar to a tent. Inside angle is smaller than 90 degrees
o Both types of arches comprise about 6% of all fingerprint patterns
PLAIN
TENTED
WHORL FINGERPRINT STUDYo WHORL - At least two delta type
divergences are present with re-curving ridges in front of each. (whorls comprise approximately 29% of all fingerprint patterns)
o Plain Whorl - One or more ridges form a complete revolution around the center (2 deltas)
o Central Pocket Loop Whorl - Some ridges form a loop pattern which re-curves and surrounds a central whorl (1 delta)
CENTRAL POCKET LOOP
PLAIN
Peacock-eye or Pocket loop
Whorl
Normal Whorl
WHORL FINGERPRINT CHARACTERISTICSo Spiral Whorl - With surging personality
characteristics, easy to grasp goal, but also likely to have emotional reaction. Goal oriented, aggressive, decent and serious about images. Emulous with strong self-consciousness and eager to win. On a weaker strength.
o Target/Concentric Whorl: Goal Oriented,
very aggressive, decent and serious about images. Emulous with strong self consciousness and eager to win. Independent, very individualistic, freedom seeker, self -motivated, secretive. On left thumb, very strict and no humanitarian, request high. On the right thumb, strength, look towards goal, precise, want face, not easily influenced, very straight forward with their decision, fight very hard for goal setting, want beauty, easily hurt others feeling, say what ever they feel.
CONCENTRIC
SP IRAL
ADDITIONAL FINGERPRINT TYPES
o Double Loop - Two separate loops are present, which sometimes surround each other. Sometimes called Double Loop Whorl (ying / yang)
o Accidental - Any pattern which does not conform to any of the previous patterns
DOU BLE
ACCIDENTAL
ACCIDENTAL WHORL
Accidental Whorl - They have 2 or more deltas and a combination or fusion of 2 or more types of patterns not including the plain, radial or Ulnar arch. This category also includes any freak pattern or accidental formation that does not conform to any conventional type.
ACCIDENTAL PATTERNS OR FINGERPRINTS
CHARACTERIZED BY IRREGULAR NUMBER AND PATTERNS OF CENTRE POINTS AND DELTAS
MINUTIAE
Just the presence of these minutiae does not individualize a print
It is the exact type of minutiae as well as the minutiae location that individualizes a print
NO TWO PRINTS HAVE EVER BEEN FOUND TO HAVE THE SAME MINUTIAE IN THE SAME PLACE
Therefore, you can conclude if you are comparing two prints, and they do have the same markings in the same place you must be looking at the same print
