Teen Challenge Women’s Ministry

In June the Women’s Bible Study group was blessed to be visited by

women from the Teen Challenge Women’s Ministry. This is a Christ

Centered group that represents adult women of all ages and walks of life,

struggling with addiction issues such as alcohol and drugs.

Some of the women in the program gave us their testimonies of the life

struggles they’ve gone through, what brought them to Teen Challenge, and

what Christ has done and is still doing in their lives. A group leader spoke

about the overall ministry and how our church could be a part of it through

prayer and support. Many that attended became monthly prayer and

financial partners. For anyone interested, there is literature about the

ministry on the shelves behind the sanctuary.

SBC Campfire 2019A good time was had by all on a beautiful September

evening on our church grounds. Rob Gouvin built araging bonfire for us to gather around to sing praises toour Savior; members shared testimonies of God’s work intheir lives; Karen Gouvin led us in song on the guitar;refreshments were enjoyed!

“Praise the LORD! For it is good to sing

praises to our God; For it is pleasant, and

praise is beautiful.” (Psalm 147:1)
