NRA LAW ENFORCEMENTOFFICER OF THE YEAR

Every day, dozens and dozens of law enforcement officers across America do something outstanding, risking their lives, saving lives, or just going above and beyond the line of duty to protect and serve.

NRA’s Law Enforcement Officer of the Year Award was established in 1993 and recognizes an exceptional act or service by a law enforcement officer and is administered by the NRA Law Enforcement Division. Nominations are accepted from anyone having knowledge of the nominee’s actions. This includes, but is not limited to, the nominee’s agency head, other law enforcement officials, elected officials, fellow officers, community leaders, interested citizens, and NRA members.

You must know an officer who should be nominated for the National Rifle Association’s Law Enforcement Officer of the year.

For eligibility information, award categories, and complete information visit our web site at http://le.nra.org/officer-of-the-year.aspx

Nominations can be sent at any time throughout the year but must be received by November 1.

REDUCED NRA MEMBERSHIP DUESFOR LAW ENFORCEMENT

Ed Nowicki, long-time NRA Member and avid supporter of the NRA’s Law Enforcement Division, founded the very pro-law enforcement officer page on Facebook. With over 100,000 followers, Police Supporter is a Police Safe Zone, meaning that cop bashing is not tolerated and cop haters are totally banned from the page. Ev-erything posted on Police Supporter is positive concerning the men and women of law enforcement. “We try to show the positive side of law enforcement which happens all across the nation each day. The domi-nant left-leaning media does selec-tive editing so they can show law en-forcement in the most negative light,” states Ed Nowicki. The typical Police Supporter is a current or retired LEO, along with relatives, friends, neigh-bors or anyone who cares about law enforcement officers.

HEY OFFICER, IS THIS YOU ?

Do you easily shoot a perfect Qualification Score? Do you feel confident you can accurately hit the small target area offered by a would be cop killer hanging out of the car window shooting at you on a traffic stop ? Are you sure you can make that 20 yard shot down the school hallway that may be needed to save a child’s life ? Are you truly satisfied with your handgun handling skills ? Are you really proficient engaging targets while using cover ; like kneeling to get over a cruiser trunk; firing prone to shoot under a car or fence; firing from the left and right side of a barricade like a corner of a building or doorway ?

If the answer to any of these questions is NO – what are you doing about it ? We’ve made it easy for you get out to build your skills with our
