Mr. Hamad Abdullah Al-Attiyah is the Chairman & Director General of HA& N Group which has a majority stake in Global Medical Co. and GlobeSoftQatar. He is also the Chairman and Director General of Al JazeeraExchange Company, Chairman of Millennial Capital and an owner ofseveral franchises.

Mr. Hamad Abdullah Al-Attiyah previously held the role of DirectorGeneral – General Retirement & Social Security Authority, Board Memberof Supreme Council of Information and Communication Technology(ictQATAR), Board member of Ahli United Bank, Masraf Al-Rayyan andChairman of DLALA Holding Co.

His previous experiences include working as a Senior Officer in RadarWing, Qatar Armed Forces, a Commander of Air Defense, No.3 Wing andLatest Rank Major General – Commander of Amiri Signal Arm a key unit ofthe Qatar Arm Forces.

He holds a BSc Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University ofCalifornia (UCLA) and a Master Degree in Military Science from the WarStaff College, Cairo and later went on to do his Post Graduate Diploma ineconomics, at the London University.


Mr. Yousuf Mohamed Al-JaidaBoard Member

Mr. Yousuf Mohamed Al-Jaida has been the Chief Executive Officer of QatarFinancial Centre Authority since June 2015. Mr. Al-Jaida previously held therole of Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Chief Strategic and BusinessDevelopment Officer at the QFC where he was responsible for the overallstrategic development of the organization. He has a strong financialbackground with experience across a variety of roles.

Prior to this appointment, Mr. Al-Jaida was the Head of Indirect Investmentat the Qatar General Retirement and Pension Authority, which includedoverseeing the management of hedge fund, private equity, real estate, fixedincome and equity portfolio investments. His previous experiences includeengineering project work for Qatar Petroleum and Dolphin Energy andmanaging various real-estate projects in Qatar.

Mr. Al-Jaida represents the QFC Authority on the boards of the QatarExchange, the Qatar Finance and Business Academy and the FinancialMarkets Development Committee.
