Host Families play a very important part in the success of our students’ stay. They provide the bestopportunity to learn about British culture and make more progress in English. People enjoy sharing theirlives and interests with their foreign guests.
Families never have 2 students of the same mothertongue unless the students ask to share with a friend.
We select families for the comfort of their homes, theirkindness and the quality of their welcome. Many of ourfamilies are personally known to our staff.
Families are within a walking distance of approximately30 minutes/2.80 kms and on a bus route.
The host families work in close co-operation with theSchool in supervising the younger students and ensurethat school rules and parents’ wishes are respected.
If a student has any difficulties or problems with theirhost family, we will do our best to improve the situationand are prepared to change the host family, ifnecessary.
