All subsidiaries and functional areas must be proactive re:
globalization: human resources, marketing, operations, finance
and accounting.
You need more sophisticated skills e.g. understanding other
national cultures, the way business is done elsewhere, different
regulatory and technological environments, and more.

GLOBAL MANAGEMENT
Global Management Studies A Global Management Major offers courses in:
International Marketing The Global Business Environment Manufacturing Management The Management of International Enterprises Project Management International Trade International Economics Global Management Strategy International Finance, and Ethics in International Business.
Global Management Studies For the major you must complete the following
required courses:
GMS 400: The Global Business Environment GMS 450: Project Management GMS 402: Introduction to Managerial Economics FIN 401: Managerial Finance ll FIN 621: International Finance GMS 522: International Marketing GMS 802: Ethical Leadership in International
Businesses GMS 723: International Trade GMS 724: Management of the International Enterprise GMS 850 (Capstone for the major): Global Management
Strategy BUS 800: Business Strategy
Global Management Studies In addition, students will take at least one
and up to two regional courses from the following list:
The North American Business Environment
The Asian Business Environment
The European Business Environment
The Latin American and Caribbean Business Environments
The African Business Environment
The Middle Eastern Business Environment

Successfully completing the global
management major will give you the
tools that you need to compete in
