1 Use the template on page 3 (for gift card only) or page 4 (for gift card and brochure). Fill in your name, your recipient’s name, and a special message.
2 Print your customized template. (Tip: It’s best to use a heavier paper or, better yet, cardstock.)
3 Trim off the edges and slip it into the appropriate Ribbon® envelope.

HOW TO WRITE A LETTER
In the U.S., 16.5 billion cards, letters, and packages are mailed between Thanksgiving and New Year’s Day. Here are some helpful tips to help make every card as special as it can be:
1 When you write a letter, keep it simple. Try to write about the moments or events that really made an impact on you in the past year.
2 Proofread and edit your letter. Read it out loud to make sure you’re not missing anything.
3 Use care to ensure you address the letter properly. If you are not sure of the Postal code, look it up on CanadaPost.ca.
4 It’s best to mail holiday cards three weeks before the holiday. Please check with Canada Post (CanadaPost.ca) on the best and most up-to-date ways to make sure your cards and packages will arrive in time.
HOW TO WRAP A GIFT
The way a gift is wrapped can show a level of care for what’s inside, and the person it’s for. Here are a few tips to make your gift wrapping great for any occasion:
1 Secure fragile items with tissue paper or bubble wrap so they won’t get damaged.
2 Roll out your wrapping paper and place your gift at its edge. Lift the box or object onto its side, then onto its back, then onto the other side. This will indicate how much wrapping paper you’ll need.
3 Center the box on the paper. Bring one side up halfway across the top, then the other side. Tape along the seam.
4 At the end, make a crease along the top edge. Then, fold the bottom triangle up. Stand the box up on the end you just finished and repeat the same steps on the other end.
5 Add ribbons, bows, and other decorative elements.Try the gift tags on pages 19–22.
6 Voilà! You have a beautifully wrapped gift you’ll be proud to give.
