La Sécurité
Dans ma valise il y a ………..
Un tee-shirt
The current form of the game originated in 1907 in Provence, in southern France. The French name means "feet together" or more exactly "feet anchored" in a southern dialect.
The game of Pétanque is played by about 17 million people in France.
1. Players stand inside a starting circle with both feet on the ground.
2. A first player throws the smallest ball (the cochonnet ‘ piglet).
3. The rest of the players take turns (two boules each) to throw the larger balls as close as possible to the cochonnet.
Scoring:
Play ends, and points may be scored when there are no more boules to play.
The winning team receives one point for each boule that it has closer to the cochonnet than the best-placed boule of the opposition.
The first team to reach 13 points wins.
