Below is your “Getting Started” package. It includes:

Step 1: Complete your educational requirements.
There are three classes necessary to completing your educational requirements:
1. ERA Coaching2. ERA Office Productivity3. ERA Agent Business Planning
ERA Coaching
ERA Coaching is a 6-hour class where participants learn about the differences between coaching and managing, the principals of being a coaching, and the REAL coaching model.
ERA Office Productivity
ERA Office Productivity is a 3-hour class where participants learn how to identify areas of focus, reviews their agent population for opportunities of growth, understand the 100+ day affect and its’ role in production, and provides step-by-step instruction on how to create a productivity plan for their office/company.
ERA Agent Business Planning
ERA Agent Business Planning is a 3-hour class where participants learn the differences between a real estate agent and an entrepreneur, writes mission/vision statements, and is introduced to the “My Business Planning” tool.
NOTE: There is NO required order of taking these classes

Step 2: Complete your demonstration assignments
After each class, there are demonstration assignments intended to ensure application of what you have learned. These tasks must be completed and sent in for review.
Following ERA Coaching class, participants will:
• Select 4 agents to coach. The criteria for this selection is discussed and identified inthe class
• Coach their selected 4 agents for 1 month (expected frequency of 1 time per weekfor 4 weeks).
• Will use REScoreboard to record the activity of their coachees
Following the ERA Office Productivity class, participants will complete:
• Office Productivity Playbook• Each quarter’s training offerings for 1 year• The Top Productivity/Tools Worksheet
Following the ERA Agent Business class, participants will complete:
• Assist the 4 coaching clients in completing a business plan
NOTE: These assignments can be done in any order or simultaneously but be reviewed by the coaching administrator

Step 3: Apply for the ERA Certified Coach
After completion of Step 1 and Step 2, the participant must complete a form that will allow the administrator to review the work and award the designation.
In the following pages is a workbook that guides you through the process of completing your ERA Certified Coach designation. As noted in the previous section, there are three steps in this process: education, planning, and action.
However, this workbook is organized by education topics and the tasks related to each course. Under each course there is a checklist of activities and applicable forms.
Please note…there is no order to the education topics. You may start anywhere and work on checklists simultaneously.

_____ Approached the identified agents and established a coaching schedule. Remember, a minimum of weekly coaching session for 4 weeks. The first coaching session will be 1 hour, followed by weekly, 30 minute, sessions.
_____ Set up each agent in www.REScoreboad.com to track activities and report these activities weekly.
