1.1-WHO WE ARE

CONDUTAR is a Portuguese metalworking company with headquarters in Camarate, Lisbon. Founded in 1982, soon was distinguished as one

of the top duct manufacturers.

CONDUTAR’s scope is the production and retail of HVAC equipment, with focus on ducts and ventilation. It’s flexibility and dynamic workflow

allow a comprehensive offer of products and solutions, satisfying every custumer, every time.

Today CONDUTAR is present in two locations (Camarate and Alcobaça), with two factory floors totaling 3500 square meters, and employs 17

highly skilled professionals.

CONDUTAR also comercialises accessories, manufacured by quality brand partners.

Result of CONDUTAR’s profissionalism, dedication and commitment in customer satisfaction, the company has grown considerably, now being

a quality and trustworthy reference in both nacional and internacional markets.

Technological inovation has been a constant drive factor. CONDUTAR’s high tech machinery guarantees the finished product superior quality,

1.3-GENERAL INFO - RAW MATERIAL

Galvanized steel sheet is the primary raw material used by CONDUTAR on fabrication of products. We have around 50T of Raw

Material in stock permanently. Besides Galvanized steel sheet we also work with stainless steel and aluminium. The most used

thickness sheets are:

BG26-0,50mm

BG24-0,60mm

BG22-0,80mm

BG20-1,00mm

BG18-1,25mm

In order to complement our range of products we count on several partners in the following countries:

Portugal, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Turkey, Greece, Ukrain, England e Germany.

1.4– QUALITY

For a company as CONDUTAR, that is on the market for more than 37 years, quality has a special meaning. For that motive we use all our Know

-How on the products we make. We follow both, national and international norms and directives on the fabrication processes as listed below:

1. International Norm SMACNA. (Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors National Association).

2. Portuguese Norm for Round Ducts and Fittings NP EN 1506 de 1999.

3. Portuguese Norm for Rectangular Ducts NP EN 1505 de 1999.

4. International European Norm—Resistence and Airthightness Standards for Rectangular Ducts. EN 1507 de 2006.

5. International European Norm—Resistence and Airthightness Standards for Round Ducts. EN 12237.

6. Regarding to Airtightness Rectangular Ducts made by CONDUTAR have “B” classification and Roud Ducts “C” classification.

All galvanized steel sheet used by CONDUTAR has Zinc coating between 200gr/sqm to 275gr/sqm. All galvanized steel sheet delivered in our

warehouses are accompanied by quality certificates.

11.8– FACTORY FLOOR

CONDUTAR’s Headquarters integrate a production unit and storage with 2000 sqm plus offices. The space is organized and marked accord-

ingly to norm ISO 7010.

Alcobaça facilities are a group of 2 warehouses with 1500 sqm total space dedicated to production only.

In order to protect collaborators wellbeing, self protection equipment's are provided for all. The prevention of work accidents is very im-

portant for us. That way we keep a steady and reliable team prepared for challenges.

2.1– CONDENSER ACCESSORIES (AM1)

In order to ensure the simple and fast instalation of equipments,, CONDUTAR offers a wide range of accessories. Foldable condenser su-

pports up to 100kg, and anti vibration mounts that support a maximum of 35 kg each.

Note

The antivibration mounts are sold in packs of 4 units..

2.2-FLEXIBLE AIR DUCTS (AM2)

Perfect to join fixed plenums and round ducts, allowing position adjustments. These also avoid the instalation of very complex geometries,

due to its flexibility. Available in plain aluminum, Combi (PVC coated aluminum) and Insulated (glasswool insulated aluminum). For special

applications there are also semi flexible aluminum and stainless air ducts.

As in every other SPIRO accessory, it has a male configuration, meaning that is made to fit on the inside of SPIRO ducts.

With high quality acoustic insulation, the silencer reduces significantly the noise in the installation. Recomended to supress fan noise fans.

The contact between the insulation and air is made through a polyurethane 15mm layer, in order to ensure fiber free pure air, and the lon-

gevity of the inner 35mm layer acoustic insulation.

Spiro Take-off (ILR) - Manufactured in galvanized steel (minimum Z200 guaranteed). Allows

joinig a Spiro duct to a planar face. Male accessory configuration, fits inside the Spiro duct.

Spiro Take-off with Mesh (ILRR) - Manufactured in galvanized steel (minimum Z200 guarante-

ed). Creates a circular inlet or outlet in a planar face. The mesh prevents the entrance of de-

bris, leafs, birds and so on.

5.5-DAMPERS AND DEFLECTORS (CR4)

Deflectors are galvanized parts, that allow an adequate airflow to a particular branch. The Deflector is fixed in place, without adjustability, and

an Adjustable Deflector has a rod, which allows the adequate positioning of the vane.

Rectangular Dampers are galvanized parts that allow to create a bottleneck for the airflow. This bottleneck will ensure adequate airflow in

specific branches.


5.6-SPIGOTS, BOX SADDLES AND OUTLETS WITH MESH (CR5)

Spigots are rectangular take-offs, to mount on a planar face. These have a standard maximum height of 100mm. Bigger heights imply added

value.

Box Saddles are rectangular take-offs, to mount on a circular face. These have a standard maximum height of 100mm. Bigger heights imply

added value.

Outlets with Mesh are terminal accessories for ducts. These allow a clean inlet or outlet of airflow. Rain will not enter due to the 45º guard, and

birds or debris are also blocked off due to the mesh applied.

5.7-MULTIBLADE MANUAL DAMPER (CR6)

Manufactured in aluminum profiles, these allow to create a very precise bottleneck for the airflow.

This bottleneck will ensure adequate airflow in specific branches. Supplied with manual handle, but it

is possible to motorize them.

Inner dimensions 300x300 to 1000x1200 (Legth x Height). For other dimensions please enquire.

5.9-RECTANGULAR TO ROUND TRANSITION - OG (CR8)

Galvanized Rectangular to Roung Transition (OG) is a special piece that allow the smooth and gradual transition from rectangular to round

section. Supplied acording to customer spec.

These are perfect to change the section type with minimal dynamic loss. A side effect to this smooth transition is the quieter flow of air.

Available with concentric or eccentric configuration.

To calculate the OG dimension, the values of A, B, C and D must be added. Dimensions in mm. The minimal OG dimension is 500.

Special configuration available - multiple OG (double, triple, etc.). Useful to connect to an AC inside unit, and divide it’s flow for multiple grilles

or diffusers.

6.1-EXTRACTION GRILLES (DA1)

6.1.1-Simple Deflection Grilles without Damper

Single deflection grilles are generally suited for assembly on plenums, walls or false ceilings. Although these can be used both

for the admission and rejection of air, it is recommended as an extraction grille.

The specific nature of the single set of individually adjustable blades allows aspects such as the reach and height of the air flow

to be regulated.

The regulation accessories allow adjustments of air flow and pressure levels both for the admission and rejection of air.

These accessories are manufactured with extruded aluminium profiles and the regulation is usually carried out manually.

These grilles have a filter holder which prevents the return of the air flow with a high concentration of particles and other substances (Filter

not included).

It is not possible to fix a Damper to this product.

6.1.4-Fixed Square Aluminum Return Grilles

The fixed square return grille is composed of square netting and is particularly suitable for the exhaust of high air volumes.

It is possible to fix a Damper to this product.

for the admission and rejection of air, it is recommended as an supply grille.

The specific nature of the double set of individually adjustable blades allows aspects such as the reach and height of the air flow

6.3-LINEAR GRILLES (DA3)

6.3.1-Linear Ceiling/Wall Grilles without Damper

The ceiling and wall linear grille was especially designed for the impulsion and return of air on air-conditioning, ventilation and heating appli-

cations. Their elongated, narrow lines allow sectioned assembly and endow it with a strong aesthetic dimension, making it the ideal kind of

grille for spaces in which the harmony of the decorative elements is vital.

6.3.3-Linear Pavement Grilles without Damper

The linear floor grille was developed for the supply or return of air from the floor and it may be constructed in various modules. It is a sturdier

product, making it suitable for assembly in pathways such as, for instance, the entrance to a commercial establishment. It is also composed of a

removable core of blades to facilitate maintenance and cleaning operations.

6.3.4-Linear Pavement Grilles with Damper

The regulation accessories allow adjustments of air flow and pressure levels both for the admission and rejection of air. These accessories are

manufactured with extruded aluminium profiles and the regulation is usually carried out manually.

6.4-EXTERIOR GRILLES (DA4)

6.4.1-Exterior Meshed Grilles

The exterior air grille is a sturdier grille, resistant to adverse climatic conditions. It has a protective mesh, and fixed 45º flaps, which prevent the

entry of rain. Ideal for outside installation, both for the admission and rejection of air.

6.4.2-Overpressure Grilles

The excess pressure grille is suited both for the admission and rejection of air on air-conditioning, ventilation and heating applications. In its

natural state, its flaps are closed, opening whenever there is an alteration to pressure levels.

6.7-VALVES (DA7)

The DAVB (plastic) and DVS (metal) valves are suited

for assembly on ceilings, particularly in washrooms.

Furthermore they can attain certain air volumes,

which can be easily regulated by rotating the frontal

inner core of the valve.

Available in Ø 100, 125, 150 and 200mm.

6.8 - LACQUERING

Most grilles may be presented with anodized or lacquered finish.

6.9-GRILLES FOR ROUND DUCTS (DA1)

This type of grille is generally suited for direct assembly in circular ducts and is used both for the admission and rejection of air on air-

conditioning, ventilation and heating applications. The specific nature of the single set of individually adjustable blades allows aspects such as the

reach and height of the air flow to be regulated.

The height sizing depends on the duct diameter. Refer to the following image for quick sizing.

Availble in single and double deflection. It is possible to attach a damper to these grilles.

6.10-FIREPLACE GRILLES

Available in black or white, manufactured in lacquered galvanized steel. Ideal for fireplace heat distribution.

7.1.1-Rectangular Ducts ( CI )

Manufactured in AISI 304 or 304L with 0,6mm thickness.

Every duct or accessory available in galvanized steel is also available in

stainless steel.

Connecting profiles P20, P30 or Drive Cleat are available.

The measuring of ducts complies with EN 14239. The minimum to account

for is 1 sqm.

7.1.2-Stainless Steel Plenums ( PLI )

Rectangular piece that allow the installation of grilles and diffusers supplied by a round duct. Manufactured acording to customer spec. With

each plenum, a round take-off is included. For adittional round take-offs there will be added costs. Please see table of services on page 42.

To calculate the Plenum dimension, the values of A, B and H must be

added. Dimensions in mm. The minimal Plenum dimension is 800.

7.1.4-Rect. To Round Transition (OGI)

A Rectangular to Roung Transition (OG) allows the smooth

transition from rectangular to round section. Supplied acor-

ding to customer spec. Ideal to minimize dynamic loss, and

to maintain a quieter flow of air.

Available with concentric or eccentric configuration.

To calculate the OG dimension, the values of A, B, C and D

must be added. Dimensions in mm. The minimal OG dimen-

sion is 500.

Special configuration available - multiple OG (double, triple,

etc.). Useful to connect to an AC inside unit, and divide it’s

flow for multiple grilles or diffusers.
