Executive Summary The project titled “GEOMERKETING OF COMMERCIAL READY MIX CONCRETE INDUSTRY FOR LAFARGE INDIA PVT. LTD.” has been carried out for Lafarge India Pvt. Ltd, Surat. The main objective of this project is to know the potential in the surat Ready Mix Market. Lafarge India Pvt. Ltd. is a commercial ready mix concrete product and service providing company. The main objective of this company is to provide the high quality products to their customer with best possible service compared to their competitors. They offer more value added products in marginal cost. The whole summer internship period with Lafarge India Pvt.Ltd. has been full of learning and sense of contribution towards the organization. According to the study of the markets, it is being observed that there are many players available in the markets and some of them are really doing well. According to the market study, Surat is one of the potential markets for the Commercial R.M.C because it is one of the fastest growing cities in the country at present. Due to some drawback in the products and services they prefer Site Mix or batching plants over R.M.C. If the company removes their drawbacks then it’s sure that the company will get great response from the customer. Construction industry of Surat has been given more emphasis for the study of the project because it is the only sector where all type of commercial buyers of R.M.C are available.
