• Mostly autotransformers• Some eliminated due to delta on the >200 kV side• CU HVDC transformers require special attention (Y‐Δ in parallel with Δ‐Y)• No applicable reactors (all reactors are connected to the delta tertiary)• Ongoing review for accurate modeling• How was the winding resistance measured?

• R2 – develop system models for GIC (MISO – IN PROGRESS‐MISO has requested modeling data)

• R4 – MISO to do the GIC Vulnerability Assessment (7/1/2018)• R5 – MISO to provide GIC flows to TO and GO• R6 – Transformers with GICs above 75 amps will require thermal assessment (Owners of the equipment, i.e. GO and TO – 1/1/2021)– Tools being developed by EPRI– GRE will get there.....
