Two parts to the course

•Lecture (50%) and Lab (50%)

You must pass both to pass the class!

As majors, you should strive to earn an “A”, proving that you have the knowledge to advance to upper-level coursework and beyond.

Lecture grade (50%) is based on your performance on three exams (2 regular and 1 comprehensive final).

Lab grade (50% of the course) is based on

Lab Exercises (40%)

Field trip notebooks & participation (20%)
