Cannabis

• Naturally occurring plant; Bud, weed, green, etc.

• Selectively bred to increase the THC.

crushed and smoked

Cannabis - the effectsCannabis is used as a form of relaxation, however some people may feel sick and dizzy.

Side effects can include a sense of calmness, feeling relaxed and happy. Others become talkative and others get the giggles. Hunger pangs are common and this is known as the ‘munchies’.

Long term effects are a lack of motivation, paranoia and confusion and in some people it can affect their mental health

Questions to ask:• What has it been sold to you as?• How much have you taken and when?• What effects did YOU experience?• What do you remember, did you black out?• How do you feel now (physical and emotional?• Would you do it again? (challenge them).
