PNU Extension Program– An extension program is defined as a set of activities

aimed to transfer knowledge or technology or to provide services to the community in consonance with the programs offered. The extension program is conducted not as part of academic requirement but as an outreach towards the improvement of the community’s quality of life.

• The University Extension Council is the policy making body on extension programs of the university. It is responsible for providing the overall framework in setting up the university’s extension structures, priorities, directions and programs. It is also in charge of advancing the university’s role in excellence and leadership in education through advocacy, linkages, and community services, alumni and media relations
