It is here that the world’s largest gem quality diamond, a massive 3106 carats, was discovered. This is where the Great & Lesser Stars of Africa, the 2nd and 3rd largest polished diamonds in the World which are now set in the Crown Jewels of the United Kingdom originate from.

After lunch at a local restaurant, continue with the cultural journey of exploration through the Jacaranda City, so called for its breath-taking purple-lined streets when the jacaranda trees are in full bloom. Groenkloof e-biking:

An exhilarating half-day experience in nature for first-time

e-bikers. All tours are guided at a leisurely pace, offering a soft

adventure nature experience. Public roads are avoided by

starting the cycle at the attraction. Each experience is

accompanied by a professional guide and a support vehicle

allowing for total peace of mind whilst you're exploring. e-Bikes

effectively make the world flat and are exhilarating to drive uphill.

They eat up the steeper hills with minimal effort (depending on

your level of fitness). The views make everything worth it! The

guide and support staff are with you every step of the way,

offering well-timed view stops and water breaks. This e-biking

experience takes you off the well-surfaced roads and onto the

gravel 'jeep' tracks. This is where the real adventure

begins. Participants can expect to see some of the dozen varieties

of animal species including giraffes, ostriches, zebra, and several

varieties of buck. Groenkloof Nature Reserve is a time capsule

that was proclaimed some 125 years ago. The guide will share

interesting things about the birds, the history (including the iron

age caves), and the warring tribes and settlers who made this

paradise, with its abundant water from underground springs,

their home.
