Clear or transparent bags must be used for garbage (40 lb limit). 1 smaller coloured bag may be used to conceal any personal products. A West Grey tag must be attached to each garbage bag. Recyclables, E-waste & Hazardous Waste not accepted in garbage. Do not bag your recycling. Bagged recycling cannot be easily processed. Use the blue box or any tote. Plastic bags of all types are not accepted in the recycling bin. All recycling materials must be clean & clear of all residue, otherwise contents will be rejected. Pickup Change

Congratulations to the patrons of West Grey for taking the time to recycle right. It has been brought to our attention by our
service provider, Waste Management, that the contamination with the materials in the recycling bins at the West Grey Landfill sites has significantly been reduced resulting with more diversion. Thanks so much for taking the extra time to make a difference and enhance our Waste Management programs.
