●Since cats will easily break into garbage bags, do not put them out before the morning of the designated collection day.

●Empty Glass bottles

All glass bottles must be rinsed out and their lids or caps removed. Returnable glass bottles must be placed in special designated plastic collection crates (green), recyclable glass bottles must be placed in special designated plastic collection crates (yellow) by 8:30 A.M. of the designated collection day.

How to dispose of garbage

●To dispose of oversized garbage, contact the [Oversized Garbage Call Center] and make a reservation for collection. If you don't speak Japanese, please ask someone to help you make the reservation.

●Inform the operator what items you want to throw away. Operator will inform you of the collection date, disposal charge, receipt number, etc. Disposal charge is ¥500 per item.

●Purchase the Oversized garbage disposal sticker (¥500/1piece) in advance. The stickers are available at supermarkets or convenience stores.

●Write your name on the sticker and attach it to your garbage. Place the garbage in front of your house by 8:30A.M. on the day of collection. If you live in an apartment house, please verify the designated place for collecting the Oversized garbage. It is not necessary to be present at the collection place.
