Engaging Scenario:  Mrs. Lorna U. Carreon, a Grade 7 Math Teacher at Holy Trinity School, asked her students to do a research work using the concepts of sets and subsets. The class is divided into three groups, and each member of the group is task to perform different role: a business planner that will provide a convincing presentation about the top three best investment sites,

researcher that will administer a survey form, statistician – that will apply basic set concepts, and computer staff that will make a power point presentation. The research will be graded according to the accuracy of content and clarity of presentation presented to the new travel agency owner and his associates.

Goal: Your group’s task is to determine the top three destinations based on survey in a given situation.Role: The individual role of each member of the group are as follows:A business planner, the group leader, hired by the new travel agency owner who will provide a convincing presentation about the top three best investment sites.

Audience: The target audience is the new travel agency owner and his associates. Situation: The challenge involves dealing with the applications of concepts and skills in sets and set operations. Surveying is an important initial step in the success or failures in the establishment of a business.

A random survey will be conducted with the following questions.
