If you are an international student and your immigration papersare not in order before you arrive in Canada, you could experiencedifficulties getting in.

Upon receipt of your official or conditional admission letter, we highly recommend that you start your immigration process quickly. As a general rule, you should have the following documents before you leave: a Certificate of Acceptance from Quebec (CAQ), a study permit,

and a visitor visa or Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) (depending on your country of origin). Remember, these procedures should not betaken lightly, so make sure your passport is valid when you start.
