Fundraising Recognition Program & Donation Benefits Package HighlightsThe CCLA has established a comprehensive fundraising campaign to facilitate and recog-nize contributions from the legal, corporate, and government communities. The CCLA is committed to raising 100% of the funds required for the renovations project through this dedicated fundraising campaign. We have already successfully raised $800,000 in the irst phase of our fundraising campaign and we are now entering the second phase. Our target for this phase is $400,000, plus in kind sponsorship of furnishings and equipment.

The CCLA enjoys a long-standing and mutual-ly beneicial partnership with both the legal and business communities of Ottawa and looks forward to engaging their support and enthusiasm to make our plans a reality. As the second largest law association in Ontario, playing a major role in the legal community – not only in Ottawa but across the province – we are offering sponsors of the renovation project a high degree of visibility and a superb marketing opportunity for those in and out-side the legal profession.

Renovations OverviewThe County of Carleton Law Association (CCLA) has had its home in the OttawaCourthouse since the building oficially opened in 1987. After almost 25 years, we are inally renovating the Barrister's Lounge, Library and CCLA ofices. As a central hub for the legal community, the Law Library and Lounge have been greatly in need of refur-bishing for a long time. By updating the layout and design of the library and lounge and better utilizing available space, we are going to create an inviting and professional space for the entire legal community to use.

We have developed a modern and impressive layout for the new Library and Learning Centre/Lounge which features:

• Access to computers and valuable resources • Quiet places to work and study • Eficiently-sized meeting rooms • Expansive seating and meeting space in lounge area • Staff ofices • Coatroom • Multi-Purpose Continuing Legal Education Centre
