Course Description

This TUV Functional Safety training course for Safety Related Systems (SRS) focuses on thefunctional safety aspects for the process, oil & gas, and chemical industries according to IEC 61508.

The main objective of the course is to give engineers involved in Safety Related Systems the opportunity to learn about functional safety, current applicable safety standards(IEC 61508) and their requirements. A second objective is to give anybody attending the course the opportunity to certify their functional safety knowledge through an exam.
