Healthier is strongerThe tests run with the Trafimet fume extractor system confirm that, during the welding of different steel alloys, the smoke concentration in the breathing zone is between 1.5 and 1.7 mg/m3.This is certainly a guarantee for the health of the operators: increasing of blood oxygenation, less fatigue, therefore a better quality of life in the workplace.

Health first of allThe workers good health is the most precious thing for a company. This is also required by the main directives and guidelines on safety and health at work.It is stated that the welding fumes contain a variety of metals and different kind of gasses are produced during welding.Welding fumes can cause serious health problems for workers if inhaled. Trafimet guarantees almost complete vacuum system capturing fumes even before the breathing zone and by any position of the operator, ensuring a TLV of -1.7 1.5 mg/min.

Energy savingWith the traditional systems, a Ø100mm suction arm requires approximately 30 kWh to provide a sufficient suction to prevent the operator from breathing the welding fumes. The Trafimet fume extraction system requires only 1 kWh every 8-hours work (tested with T350 torch with Ø 1.0/1.2 mm wire). How is it possible?For 3 simple reasons:1. the Trafimet fume extraction torches are studied for a high vacuumefficiency;2. compared to the classic aspiration torches, the Trafimet suction cone ismuch closer to the welding area, so it requires a lower suction power;3. While traditional systems are always on, the Trafimet suction systemturns on only during welding and off during periods of inactivity.Thanks to this efficiency we benefit of over 95% reduction of the energyrequired, compared to the traditional suction arms.

Economical savingThe Trafimet fume extraction system highly reduces the amount of air consumption.A traditional suction arm consumes approximately 2000 m3/h in a 8 hours shift. The Trafimet fume extraction system, connected to the torch T350, consumes only 80 m3h/, allowing significant savings in heating or conditioning costs.The Trafimet fume extraction torches cones work also as protection for the welding puddle. This way the gas amount needed for the protection is 1/4 compared to standard torches.

FCT - Flux Control Trafimet The FCT Torches are fitted with the Trafimet Flux control system. Through this system the operator can adjust the depression by pressing an additional handle button.The FCT system is required when you are welding in corner or narrow places, to avoid air floating that might disturb the shield gas.By pressing the FCT button, the aspirator stops (or close the vents in the case of centralized suction). The FCT system ensures excellent weld quality having the suction control in all circumstances.

Light and handyAftet the last restyling and innovations, the new Trafimet aspiration torches allow more performances at the same time are handier and more ergonomic.Our R&D especially focused on creating a very small handle with rotating metal joint that guarantees excellent grip and less effort.The new cable and the new outer hose are more performant, softer and handier. Consumables are made of selected raw materials for increased reliability and durability.
