CONFIRMATIONA booking is only confirmed upon receipt of the completed booking agreement including Minors Agreement (if applicable) & acknowledgement of the terms & conditions as discussed in this document.

Final payment & event attendance numbers are required four business days prior to your event at The Manly Hotel.

Decreased event numbers within four business days will not be accepted. Increased numbers within four business days must be discussed with your function coordinator.

Due to unforeseen & exceptional circumstances, it may be necessary for The Manly Hotel to assign a different function area. We will provide sufficient notice where possible.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATIONMenus shown in this Function Pack are subject to change at any time in line with produce availability.

THEMING & DECORATIONSTheming & decorations must be pre-arranged with you function coordinator.

Decorating the function space is allowed, however certain decorations are not permitted (e.g. confetti, table scatters & party poppers). In the instance that these items are used, the client is liable for cleaning expenses associated.

Besides birthday cakes, no other food is permitted to be brought into the venue. A cakeage fee will be charged if cake cutting & plating is required.

PERSONAL BELONGINGSThe Manly Hotel does not accept responsibility for the injury, damage or loss of, any client’s property left in the premises prior to, during or after an event.

Any damages caused to The Manly Hotel property during an event are the financial responsibility of the client.

SECURITYTo fulfill our obligations under the Liquor Act in respect to ratio of security providers to guests, all functions may be subject to the requirement of a hotel appointed security guard.

If this is deemed necessary, it will be at the expense of the client & in addition to the function costs. Further information will be discussed with you at time of booking.

A credit card is required as a security bond in the instance of any damages caused to The Manly Hotel.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

REGULATIONSGovernment regulations state that a current Australian drivers license (valid with photo), a current passport or an 18+ card are the only valid documents to allow entry into The Manly Hotel. Please advise guests, that any persons not able to produce valid ID will be refused entry.

Hotel Management & staff including contracted crowd controllers adhere to the laws governing the Responsible Service of Alcohol. Patrons showing signs of undue intoxication or disorderly behaviour will be refused service & will be asked to leave the premises.

Management has the right to exercise regulatory conditions at any time during a function if it is believed that the alcohol consumption rate is excessive.

Guests enjoying the beverage packages outlined in this Function Pack will be closely monitored by The Manly Hotel staff throughout the event & are subject to service limitations (e.g. two drinks per person, per transcation) & responsible alcohol servings (e.g. wines - 150ml glass & tap beer - half pint).

MINORSAny guests under 18 years of age must be supervised by a parent/legal guardian & must remain within the designated function area. They will be asked to leave the premises immediately if found unaccompanied outside the designated function area. Minors must wear a wristband provided by The Manly Hotel & vacate the premises no later than 10pm.

All minors attending a function must be outlined on the “Minors Agreement” form provided.

The Manly Hotel has a zero tolerance on underage drinking. Should a minor be found consuming alcohol, the function may be shut down. Please consult your function coordinator to discuss details.

CANCELLATIONSWritten notification must be provided to the function coordinator in all instances.

Any cancellation charges for third party items or contractors hired on behalf of the client are payable by the client.

PAYMENTFunction payments can be made to The Manly Hotel by credit card, cash or direct deposit.

Direct deposit details are available on request & if chosen as the payment method, you must email through a remittance statement to your function coordinator, confirming the deposit.

If payment is not received four business days prior to your event, The Manly Hotel reserves the right to cancel the function.

NOISE RESTRICTIONSThe Manly Hotel is predominately surrounded by residential properties & to ensure neighbours are not inconveienced in any way, Management, staff & contracted crowd controllers enforce a friendly neighbourhood policy.

Please remind your guests if vacating the premises late at night to be mindful of neighbouring properties, keeping voices & unnecessary noises low.

INFORMATION ON MINORS

The Manly Hotel House Policy states that minors who are attending a function are allowed in the venue until 10.00pm & must be accompanied by their parent or guardian at all times, meaning within arm’s reach of the minor(s).

The minor(s) will also be issued a wristband, which must be worn at all times, to ensure they are easily recognisable. If a minor removes their wristband, Hotel Security will ask the minor & his/her guardian to leave the venue.

To allow a minor(s) to attend a function at The Manly Hotel, the form below must be filled out & returned at least 48 hours prior to the event. The Manly Hotel has the right of refusal in any situation.

This document must be completed & sent to your function coordinator prior to your function event.

This document is only required for functions where minors will be attending the function event.
