Dear Factory Shoals Elementary School Families,

At the June 17, 2019, Board of Education meeting, the revised calendar for 2019-2020 was approved. As you will see from the attached calendar, May 21 and 22 will be professional learning days. The last day for students will be May 20, 2020. All graduations will take place on Thursday, May 21, and Friday, May 22, with three of the graduations taking place during the day.

We are excited to provide additional time at the end of the year for our teachers and staff to receive training in preparation for the following school year. We are also pleased to hold graduations on Thursday and Friday so that our high school teachers and the families of our graduates can enjoy a full holiday weekend.

Thank you for all you do to support the educational journey of your children. I look forward to seeing all of our students at Sneak – a – Peek August 5, 2019 from 4:30 – 6:00pm. Additionally, the first day of school is August 7th!
