REGISTRATION• Registration Fee - $30.00 per person if you pre-register

by mail for both days of fishing with a chance to win a $100 Cabela’s gift card; or $20.00 per person for each day of the tournament, without a chance on the Cabela’s gift card. Preregistered children are eligible to win a $50 Cabela’s gift card.

• Children 16 & under are free• Mail in registrations must be received by 3/1/2013. Please make checks payable to Fryeburg Rec.• All participants must register at registration table located

on ice at Buddy Carriers on Lower Bay (open all day each day from 5 am) or Farrington’s Beach on Upper Bay (open 5-9 am only). Look for the sign.

• All registrants are eligible for door prizes to be held all day for both days.

CONTEST PERIOD & FISHING GUIDELINES• The derby runs March 2nd & 3rd from 7:00 am to 3:00

pm Horn blast will start event.• No holes shall be drilled prior to 6:45 am - All lines must

be up by 3:00 pm.• The only species that can be registered for the derby are

pickerel, perch and trout - bass will be excluded from the derby.• A maximum of 5 lines per angler (Tip-ups or Jigging

Lines combined)• Must have a present 2013 Maine fishing license for

entrants 17 & older• All State laws and guidelines must be followed.

WEIGHING FISH• Weigh station will be at BUDDY CARRIERS ON

LOWER BAY. (Farrington Beach will have a registration table only.)• There will be 1 weigh-in station on the ice at Buddy

Carriers. We will also weigh fish roaming the lake. The entrant’s name, fish species, weight, length, and time caught will be recorded on the spot - any ties will be determined by length or time caught.

• All prizes to be awarded at 4:00 pm, or shortly thereafter, on March 3rd at Buddy Carriers - no need to be present to claim (Grand Prizes) - door prizes must be claimed at the end of each day

• Prizes (based on weight) will be for the following species only: PICKEREL, PERCH, TROUT

DRAWINGS FOR ALL REGISTRANTS & RAFFLES• There will be a door prize drawn periodically throughout

the day from 9am to 3pm both days, all derby registrants are eligible to win. All door prizes & raffles generously donated by nearby businesses & local supporters.

• Before you leave, or periodically throughout the day, check the registration table to see if you’ve won a prize. (all door prizes must be claimed at the end of each day)

FOOD • Concession stand foods will be sold - hamburgers, hotdogs,

hot chocolate, etc. (proceeds to benefit Fryeburg Rec. Dept.)

DIRECTIONS & PARKING• From Rte. 5 in Lovell 2 tenths of a mile south of New Suncook

School, take right onto Shave Hill Rd. Keep going straight, at sharp corner take right onto Union Hill Rd. Go straight until you reach Kezar Lake Rd. on the right and follow the signs. Plenty of parking. If you wish to fish in Upper Bay a trail will be opened from Lower Bay to Upper Bay. This will be the best access to the lake because of parking. Please respect home owners & use the lake access only.

LIABILITY• Fryeburg Recreation Dept. and Buddy Carrier, who is

generously donating the area for parking, are not responsible for lost or damaged items. Please respect property and leave the lake clean. - OUT HOUSE STATIONS ON SITE -

DERBY PRIZES UPPER BAY• 1st Place will receive $500 Cash• 2nd Place will receive $300 Cash• 3rd Place will receive $200 CashLOWER BAY• 1st Place will receive $500 Cash• 2nd Place will receive $300 Cash• 3rd Place will receive $200 CashKids are also eligable to win Cash Prizes. Adults will receive trophies 1- 3, kids will receive trophies 1-5.• We will be giving away one LIFETIME FISHING

LICENSE for a youth donated by Inland Fisheries & Wildlife.

RAFFLE ITEMS• There will be a professionaly made aluminum ice shack

made by Jeff Day from Harmac Rebar• Two 8 inch Jiffy Augers• 50/50 Raffle each day. Cash prize awarded at the end of

each day.
