Jessie Tyack (middle back) and Sienna Blacker (front far right) at Trent Barret Shield
From the School,
Congratulations to all our players who played in the Grand Final on Saturday. What a fantastic achievement to have three teams in and for all those teams to win. What a great effort for our small town. Special mention to our three Lake boys who also played on the weekend, with Tristan Peacock's team winning the under 11's and Harley Henschke who was best on ground for Lake Cargelligo in the under 14's.
This weekend the annual Lake Cargelligo show will be held and again our school will be supporting the show by putting in a school display. If you are at the show please make sure you have a look at the display.
This week will be our last Sporting Schools AFL Program. Thank you to AFL NSW for their support in running this program for all our students. It has been great to see the engagement of our students in this program.
Last week our 3/4 students participated in the Trent Barrett Shield (Rugby League ) in Griffith. The students had a great time playing and learnt many new skills. Both the girls and the boys enjoyed the day.
Thursday 6th September will be school photo day for all our students and we encourage everyone to come to school dressed in their best school uniform on this day. The SRC are running a Footy Colours Day on the Wednesday to assist in ensuring all sturdents wear full school uniform. This will also be our NAIDOC day celebrations which will be held in Lake Cargelligo. Students will be able to change once their photos have been completed. We will also be asking that all town students be at school by 8.30am on the day so photos can be taken quickly and we can to get to the NAIDOC day celebrations.

TRENT BARRETTLEAGUE TAG
Last Thursday Sienna Blacker and I went to Griffith, to play in the Trent Barrett Shield. We joined with girls from St Francis Lake Cargelligo, they were nice to play with. We got
to play 4 games throughout the day. Our first 3 games we went down and the last game we won. It was a fantastic day and we hope we can go again next year.

RUGBY LEAGUE
At Trent Barrett in Griffith we joined with boys from St Francis Lake Cargelligo. We spilt into two teams, each team one player short. This didn’t matter because we still played our hardest. The last two games we joined our teams and mixed together. We had a few wins
and really enjoyed our day. By Jack Dillon, Flynn Helyar, Kolby Newham, James Blacker and Dylan Browne
