Police Careers TalkOn Wednesday 25 October students enjoyed the informative recruitment presentation given by Sergeant Neil Tapley along with Constable Cory Lowe and other team members this week. Students were informed of the process involved with applications and requirements to enter the Police Force. They learned a few things to expect and were given some first hand knowledge of experiences on the job.

We are looking forward to getting the team back into school for more talks next year.

Now is timely to remind all caregivers of the importance of keeping us up-to-date with the correct information for your student. Shortly we will be preparing the information for next year and would like to have the correct details on file so that you get the information required. Have you changed address? A new phone number? A different email address?

If you have any changes to make, please ask your student to get a Change of Details form for you to complete from the Student Office. Thank you!

Congratulations to the following students who were recipients at the Arts and Cultural Awards evening held on Tuesday 24 October.

Junior Girls Volleyball 201719th October 2017

Our junior girls did really well playing against James Cook. The game started with both teams winning a set each but James Cook came out on top for the last set and the win. Points of the afternoon were:

Rosehill College 20-25 first setRosehill College 25-22 second setJames Cook won the third Set 15-11.

Our girls won by default when Manurewa did not turn up to the game. Well done girls, what an awesome start to the term. Player of the day was Cecile Seukeva.

Junior Boys Volleyball 201719th October 2017

The Junior Boys had a very intense game against Tangaroa College who gave them their all on the court. This was one of the most challenging games of the afternoon for the boys who did not have any reserves. The game was going from point to point but in the end Tangaroa stayed strong and won both sets. This will be the team our boys will confront again later in the competition which will give us another opportunity for another competive again. Second game Rosehill College came out with both wins against Auckland Seventh Day Adventist. Our player of the day was John Earl Libradilla who played well and earned most of our points on the afternoon. Well done boys, looking forward to see how you go on your next game.
