Immediately after reading the information contained in this document, contact the curators to letthem know that you are aware that your work was selected for the show and that you havereviewed all the information given in this document. Simply send an e-mail [email protected] and write “I have read the Frida Kahlo notification,” or somethingsimilar, in the body of the message.

Delivery Of Artwork

Please deliver your artwork on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 (4:00-7:00 PM).

Please notice that the delivery day is the day before Thanksgiving Day. If you have any holidayplans and are unable to drop off your piece, please make plans now to have somebody elsedelivering the piece on your behalf.

Late deliveries will not be accepted. Shipping/delivery of artwork to and from the Bath House isthe responsibility of the artist. If you are shipping your artwork, please plan the deliveryaccordingly so that we receive your artwork in a timely manner, and don’t forget to includesufficient postage for the return of your artwork inside your package.

All art must be suitable for hanging. The Bath House Cultural Center will charge a maintenancefee of $10 to artists whose work is not ready for hanging/displaying.

Publicity

Please bring a copy of your resume and/or artist statement when you drop off or ship yourartwork. Many of our visitors like to read about the artists and their creations. Make sure thatyour documents include information that the public and/or prospective art buyers can use tocontact you.

Publicity for the exhibition is done primarily online, via electronic newsletters, social networks, andelectronic postcards. Artists will be able to download a digital postcard from our website that theycan use to promote the show. Your assistance in getting the word out about the exhibition ishighly encouraged and always appreciated.

Reception with the Artists: Saturday, December 5, 2015 from 7 to 9 PM. The reception is freeand open to the public. The Bath House provides some food for the reception; however, artistsare encouraged to bring in a favorite dish or beverage (non-alcoholic) to share if they so desire.

Art Pickup: After the show closes, you must pick up your artwork promptly on Sunday, January31, 2016 (11:00 am – 1:00 pm). Artwork will not be insured past this date. A storage fee will becharged to artists not picking up artwork on time.

The Bath House will also coordinate additional programs (workshops, lectures, etc.) during therun of the exhibition. Make sure to check our website for more details.

Insurance / Art Sales

The City of Dallas Office of Cultural Affairs will provide insurance on most works of art. In somecases, the City of Dallas may refuse to insure certain pieces of art. The Bath House staff willconduct an inspection of the work of art to determine if it will be insured. Artists have the option topurchase their own insurance separately. While on exhibition, the artwork will be given allreasonable care. The insurance coverage will not be in effect during shipping of artwork.

Artists who sell their artwork during the exhibition may choose to offer a donation (14% of the salevalue) to the Bath House Cultural Center Advisory Council. Transactions for the purchase ofartwork shall be directly between the purchaser and the artist or his/her official agent.

Exhibition Policy

Submission of entries and participation in this exhibition constitutes agreement to the conditionsset forth in the Gallery Policy for Exhibitions.
