We offer the following courses:

• Diploma in Accounting

• Diploma in Business Administration

Students who graduated from our Diploma also receive the BTEC Higher National Diploma (BTEC HND) from the United Kingdom. Newbridge Diploma and BTEC HND are recognized for admission to second or third year University degree courses in the United Kingdom, Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong and locally, apart from acceptance by employers world wide. 2. What are your fees?

Our tuition fees for our Diploma and BTEC HND for 2016 intakes are as follows:

3. Are the above the only fees we have to pay?

No, there are some other fees which are payable, however, for 2016 we have fixed this at RM500.00 for the whole duration of all our Diploma courses. We do not charge any other fees (library, computer, examination or engineering laboratory fees).

Consequently, the fees that Diploma and BTEC HND students have to pay are the tuition fees and the registration fees of RM500.00 for 2016 intakes. There are no further fees to be paid.

4. How about the fees that have to be paid for the UK BTEC Higher National Diploma?

For intakes for the year 2016, the above fees cover the fees that need to be paid for the UK BTEC HND.

5. Does the College gives special fees for students from the low income group?

Yes, for 2016 intakes, we provide special fees for those from the low income group. We define students from the low income group as those qualified to receive BR1M*. Fees for students under this category are as follows:

6. Do you give Merit Scholarships?

We offer Merit Scholarship based on Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia and Unified Examination Certificate results. The scholarship provides waiver from the tuition fees, as follows:

The registration fees of RM500.00 will, however, still need to be paid.

7. Could you show me what are the fees I have to pay with my SPM/UEC result?

There are two fees to be paid:

A) Registration fees: RM500.00 (one-off for all Diploma courses) and

B) Tuition fees

8. What are my loan entitlement from Perbadanan Tabung Pendidikan Tinggi Negara (PTPTN) for the Diploma courses that I will be taking?

All our Diploma courses are eligible for PTPTN loans. The loan entitlement from PTPTN under current guidelines are as below:

9. Are there other sources of financing?

Students who are not eligible for PTPTN loan can apply for Employers Provident Fund (EPF) withdrawal from their parents’ or students’ account (for students who have worked) to finance their studies.

There are part-time work available at the retail, eateries and other business places near to the new College campus in Malacca. The College will be setting up a corner in a new campus for employer to notify of

vacancies available.

10. What are the professional courses that Newbridge College offers?

We offer the following professional courses:

• LCCI Level 3 Group Diploma in Accounting

• Diploma in Accounting and Finance (LCCI International Qualifications) (LCCI Level 4)

• Certified Accounting Technician (CAT)

• Association of Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA)

11. What about fees for ACCA, CAT and LCCI Diploma courses?

No, we do not offer Merit Scholarships for these courses. Students are also not eligible for PTPTN loan for these courses.
