The first semester of the academic year normally begins in January.

For the long semester, a 7-1-7 split of instruction weeks and semester break followed by 1 week study leave and 2 weeks of final examination.

The second semester of the academic year normally begins in middle of the year which is a short semester with 7 instruction weeks followed by 1 week of revision week and 1 week of final examination.
