PLANNING FOR 2021 As we begin looking at our enrolments for 2021 to determine class structures and student placements for what we will hope be a more ‘normal’ year, we ask that you support this process by advising if your child/children WILL NOT BE RETURNING to Freeling Primary School for the new school year. We would also appreciate you letting the front office know if you are aware of anyone moving into the area that may be intending to enrol their child at Freeling School or Preschool for 2021.
SPORTS DAY – STUDENTS ONLY As advised throughout the term, there are still a number of restrictions and requirements in relation to COVID. We continue to comply with the current advice from SA Health and the information provided by our Department for Education.
We understand the disappointment for some families as we hold our sports day on Thursday this coming week. It is important however, that the students will still have the opportunity to enjoy the day (weather permitting). Please remember, it is a STUDENT ONLY SPORTS DAY; parents and family members will not be able to attend. END OF TERM 3 – VACATION CARE We are nearing the end of Term 3 which ends next Friday 25th September. Please remember that dismissal time for all students will be 2:15pm. Vacation Care will be available during the holidays for families wishing to use the service. Book in online at www.happyhaven.com.au and click ‘Enrol Now To FullyBooked’. Enjoy the break and hopefully some great weather to venture outside.

Street Smart Road Safety for Primary Schools
How to keep safe as a pedestrian, cyclist and passenger were the key messages given by the RAA Street Smart
program. Each class was involved in a lesson delivered by a specialist road safety teacher last week. Here’s a
snapshot of the learning across the classes.
Jenson and Nyah Room 1
Always wear shoes when riding. You
should fit two fingers between your
helmet and eyes and straps make a V
over your ears.
I liked sorting safe and unsafe pictures.
Lucas Room 8
You need to think when you cross a road and use a
crossing if there is one.
They liked sorting to see who was wearing bright
colours so drivers can see you easily.
Rocco, Kade, Rosie & Tessa Room 4
