What sets EverGen apart?

We are “Buy American” compliant – meaning that 87% of the

components are manufactured in America (based on

component cost).

Warmer LEDs are becoming more and more important in

commercial lighting – and people are demanding changes

due to the effect of “blue” LEDs.

Bright, blue-white LEDs create unnecessary glare and affect

safety on roadways. These color wavelengths also disrupt

our sleep and have other lasting effects on our bodies, as

reported by the American Medical Association.

While older products tend to use blue-white LEDs

(6000K) Sol’s newer solar lighting can include warmer

orange-yellow color LEDs (3000K). These lights can

achieve this color temperature without loss of efficacy,

meaning that systems like the EverGen can meet the

same IES light levels as before.

The EverGen M Series is based on the Sol Top of Pole (TP)

model, but has a brand new Energy Management System

(EMS) to optimize for efficiency and system longevity. The

EMS is built by Sol’s engineering team to maximize

performance, while many competitors use off-the-shelf

components or lack this feature set.

Some key technology features built into the EverGen

EMS include:

EMS Component Features

MPPT charge controllerCharge more efficiently in all conditions – keeping

system size and costs down

Bluetooth® connectivity Allows for wireless firmware updates

GPS on board Provides accurate location for fault reporting

Satellite monitoringSends status messages from system location to

LightGuard™

Integrated LED driver Drive up to 100W single fixture or 50W dual

The lighting industry is undergoing a huge shift. Besides

switching to LED lighting fixtures to improve power

efficiencies, cities are also looking to integrate smart city

technologies in order to streamline maintenance of their

infrastructure.

Incorporating these machine-to-machine capabilities,

including remote monitoring, allows an individual lighting

system to communicate to a central intelligence hub using

satellite technology – automatically letting maintenance

crews know when there is a fault with the system.

SEE ‘LIGHTGUARD SELL SHEET’ FOR DETAILS

Sol includes remote

monitoring packages

with every EverGen

light. All standard systems

include LightGuard remote

monitoring that sends alerts

via email. The remote

monitoring package can be

upgraded to LightGuard Plus

or API packages.

Other benefits of monitoring include:

• Ability to view systems for preventative maintenance

before outages occur

• Customers can respond to damaged, vandalized, and

inoperable devices more quickly

What sets

EverGen

apart?

Simple Setup

The new EMS includes Bluetooth® wireless technologies – an addition

that creates a more streamlined setup and gives contractors and

maintenance crews confidence that setup is done right.

Bluetooth technology, in combination with the EverGen Setup App,

provides step-by-step assistance during the commissioning phase.

Crews will be required to use an Android smartphone and will also have

access to online installation manuals and direct chat with our sales

engineer.
