IRI

Established in 1953 the Industrial Research

Institute (IRI) is a Lebanese Institution for:

- Laboratory testing and analysis;

- Studies and Research;

- Certification covering systems, products and

persons.

The IRI is a non- profit institution, linked to the

Ministry of Industry with administrative and

financial autonomy.

These Projects are:

Through the coordination of these projects, IRI

has developed the necessary expertise and

credibility in the fields, enabling it to partner

with projects similar to FOSTEr in MED.

IRI’s Role in FOSTEr in MED

•Collaborate to the implementation of the activities

listed in the AF;

•Indicate 2 TCS members with a consolidated

experience in research activity in the fields of solar

energy, energy saving and environmental

sustainability;

•Participate in the activities of the Steering Committee

(SC) through its "FOSTEr Project Manager“;

•Host 1 info point in its headquarter;

•Host a page dedicated to the project on its website;

•Provide an adequate support for the identification of

the buildings able to host the pilot project.
