3b/28 - The spent fuel pit pump does not have a direct LOCA-mitigatingfunction. However, in the event of an accident, degradation ofspent fuel pit pump performance could result in a temperatureproblem ith the spent fuel pool that, because of personnelrestrictions created by the accident, could not be corrected.For the interim, the "in-site" equipment is acceptable sinceno spent fuel has been stored. However, to correct thissituation, TVA will, by the first refueling outage, provideanalyses which verify that the equipment is qualified, or repair,
