On October 20, 2019, at Shanghai, during the 15th World Wushu Championship, USAWKF won the bid to be the host organization for the 16th World Wushu Championship. This world class, high level competition, will have a profound impact on the development of Wushu sports in the United States and North America. In order to prepare for the 16th World Wushu Championship in 2021 and the World Junior Wushu Championship as well as the Pan American Junior Wushu Championship, the 2020 Golden State International Wushu Championships and USAWKF Junior Wushu Team Trials local organization committees will be hosting the following events to encourage wushu development in the US. Competition 1: Date: April 25, 2020 in San Jose, CA. Golden State International Wushu Championships USAWKF Kung Fu Team Trials USAWKF Coach Certification Course (Will be held one week before the tournament date) Competition 2: Date: June 20-21, 2020 in San Jose, CA. REGULATIONS

Golden State International Wushu Championships started in 2009. It’s officially sanctioned by the United States Wushu-Kungfu Federation (USAWKF) and organized by National Tai Chi Wellness Foundation (NTCWF). This Championship is open to international and national competitors, including Traditional & Contemporary Wushu, Shaolin, Tai Chi Quan, Group competition, Duilian, and All-Around championships events which are open to all ages and levels. The USAWKF Kung Fu Team Trials will also be held at the same time. The Kung Fu Team Trials event encourages participation from all Kungfu / Wushu practitioners. The selected athletes will represent the United States to participate in the 9th World Kung Fu Championships held in Emeishan, China, and the 4th Pan American Kungfu & Taijiquan Championships held in Brazil. During this event, the USAWKF Coach Certification Course also will be held one week before the tournament date.

3. Registration: Feb 12th - April 12th, 2019. Early Registration: Register before March 14 to receive one spectator voucher per athlete valued at $20 for free.

4. Eligibility

1. Golden State International Wushu Championship. International and National Teams and Individuals are all welcome.

2. USAWKF Kung Fu Team Trials: Applicant must be a member in good standing of the USAWKF Membership, must be a US Citizen or Permanent Residents.

3. USAWKF Coach certificate Course: Applicant must be a member in good standing of the USAWKF Membership; Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Residents or with a valid work permit; must be between 18 and 65 years of age, inclusive.

2. All-Around Championship

The All-Around Championship will be separated into three different groups: traditional Kungfu all around championship, contemporary wushu all around championship and Taijiquan and health qigong championship.

1) Traditional and /or Contemporary Wushu Age Group:

o All-Around Group A: 12 years old and under, male or female

o All-Around Group B: 13-18 years old, male or female

o All-Around Group C: 19-25 years old, male or female

o All-Around Group D: 26-55 years old, male or female

o All-Around Group E: 56 years old and above, male or female

* Any athlete registered in Contemporary Wushu, competing in at least one Contemporary hand form, one Contemporary short weapon event and one Contemporary long weapon event, is eligible to apply for the Contemporary All-Around Championship. *Any athlete registered in Traditional Wushu, competing in at least one Traditional hand form, one Traditional short weapon event （or Soft Weapon）and one Traditional long weapon event, is eligible to apply for the Traditional All-Around Championship.

2) Tai Chi and Health Qigong:

o All-Around Group F: 25 years old and under, male or female

o All-Around Group G: 26-55 years old, male or female

o All-Around Group H: 56 years old and above, male or female *Any athlete registered in Tai Chi and Health Qigong, competing in at least one hand form and one weapon event, is eligible to register in the All-Around Championship.

7. Competition Requirements

1. Time requirements

1) Traditional hand forms and Traditional Weapon forms: is no lase then 1 minutes. Forms and Optional forms (Nandu): no less than 1 min 20 sec (except for Tai Chi forms, and age group under 18 years old) Beginning forms or under 18 years old no time limit.

2) Wushu Duilian Form: not less than 40 sec, Tai Chi Duilian is between 3-5 min.

3) Tai Chi Hand-Form series, Group Tai Chi series, Health Qigong Form series: 3-6 min and the head judge will blow a whistle when the athlete performs to 5 minutes.

4) Tai Chi Weapons 2-4 minutes the head judge will blow a whistle when the athlete performs to 3 minutes

2. Music requirements

1) All events’ music is not allowed to have narration or vocals.

2) All Group events require Music.

3) All individual Tai Chi and Health Qigong related music would be chosen by the judge panel randomly during the competition.

3. Grouping and merging

If the same age event group is less than4people, the group will need to be combined with a similar event group or a higher age group. If the same age and event group is more than 12 people, the group will be divided into A and B Groups by close age range.

4. Group Event

Group event requires a minimum of 6 participants per team, no age or gender restrictions, individuals may compete in more than one group event.

5. Clothing and equipment

Clothing must follow the 2019 IWU competition rules, but equipment is no required. 8. Competition Rules

1. All Tournament Competitions will consist of individual events.

2. Golden State Championships will be conducted in accordance with the 2019 [International Wushu Competition Rules] endorsed by the IWUF, all Traditional

events shall adopt the 2012 Traditional Wushu Routine Competition Rules and our current regulations.

3. Health Qigong Tournament shall adopt the [Health Qigong Demonstration and Exchange Competition Scoring Guidelines and Standards] authorized by the China Health Qigong Management Center and our current regulations.

4. The power of interpretation of the Rules rests solely with the IWuF. In the event of disagreement regarding the interpretation of the Rules, the Chinese Text shall prevail.

9. Ranking and Awards

1. Individual and group event: Tournament ranking is from the highest to the lowest competition score. If 10 or more participants compete in an event, the top 8 athletes will be awarded a ranking certificate. For events fewer than 10 participants, the two lowest ranking participants will be eliminated. For events fewer than 5 participants, 1 participant will be eliminated. Participants with tied scores will receive the same ranking certificate. For individual competitors, the top 3 highest scoring athletes will be awarded with their trophy and certificate.

2. Top three group events will receive a group trophy and all members will receive certificates.

3. All-around event: on obtaining the highest score and ranking from two, or three individual competitions (refer to the specific registration requirements for All-Around Competition), an All-Around Champion trophy and certificate will be awarded to the top 3 individual athletes.

4. First-Time Competitor: Athletes who participate for the first time will receive a participation award certificate.

5. Kung Fu Team Trials: Athletes participating in any of the Golden State International Wushu Championship event with score above 8.0 or top three ranking will be chosen to be a member of U.S. Team. After the athletes are selected, they will be obliged to join the USAWKF Kung Fu team to participate in the 9th World Kung Fu Championships and 4th Pan American Kungfu & Taijiquan Championships.

10. Fees

1. Individual competition & Duilian registration fee is US $60 per person, plus US $25 for each event.

2. Group competition: US $25/person

3. All-Around Competition and Traditional Team Trials: US $50.

4. Competition tickets: US $20 for all spectators, Children under age of 10 get free admittance.

1. Registration Time: Registration begins on Feb 12th and ends by April 12th, 2020. Early registration before March 14th, athletes will receive one spectator voucher per athlete valued at $20 for free, registration will not be accepted after April 12th, 2020.

2. Registration Methods: it is fast and simple to register on-line through the event website Gowushu.com. You may also mail or email the event organization committee to register for the event, the mail/email registrations will only take effect after their payment is completed before the registration deadline.

3. Group and Duilian Event Registrations: We prefer email and mailing registrations, we need all team members’ name, birthdates, gender and event information as well as contact information.

4. All participants enrolling in any competition event should handle their own accident insurance. A waiver form must be signed, and every participant must agree to the terms before entering our on-line registration system

5. Please note that all registration and event fees are non-refundable. Any returned check will be assessed with a fee of $35.

6. Team Officials: Each group shall select 1 Team Leader and 2 Coaches, any group with 15 members or above is eligible to nominate one Certificated Judge (or a person can certify his/her experiences in judging). Such Judge or person will be assigned after approval from the organization committee. Team officials and Athletes are not required to purchase admission tickets.

12. Drawing Lots and Confirmation: 1. All athletes or team coaches shall “Draw Lots” through the online registration

system to determine their orders to compete in the listed events. “Draw Lots” time is on April 14th, 2020 from 9:00AM until Mid-night Pacific Time. The orders to compete will be automatically given if you missed the time of Draw Lots.

2. Before drawing lot, athletes and coaches should double check all the competition information to make sure all the registered events are correct. Athletes or coaches shall keep a copy or screes shot of the event registration details. After April 14th, 2020, the event organization will not be able to make any changes.

3. Program Book: after Draw Lots, the organization will send an electronic program book to team coaches before the tournament, if you need a hard copy; you need to purchase one when you check-in.

13. Check-in and Official Hotels: 1. Competition check-in:

Teams or individuals shall pick up their own badge and tickets at the official hotel (TBD) check-in area or at the organization committee office (KungfuDirect office: 1040 Commercial St #108 San Jose, CA 95112) before the tournament.

2. Officials Hotel: Group Rate for the official hotels will be booked through our official website registration. The rooms are limited, the cut-off date is March 14th.

14. Competition management

1. All competition is managed by the local organization committee. For the team trial events, the registered athletes must agree to participate at chosen trial event. USAWKF has the final say in who the selected team members will be.

前言

2019 年 10 月在上海举办的国际武术联合会第十五届世界武术锦标赛期间，美国武术联合会

成功获得了国际武术联合会第十六届世界武术锦标赛的主办权。这一世界最高水平的重大武

术赛事在美举行，必将为美国以及北美地区武术的发展带来深远影响。 为了更好迎接第十

六届世界武术锦标赛；2021 年世界功夫锦标赛；2020 世界青少年武术锦标赛；2020 泛美洲

青少年武术锦标赛，以及美国青少年国家武术队套路选拔赛和美国全国武术锦标赛等重要赛

事活动。加州国际武术锦标赛组委会将于今年分别承办以下主要赛事活动。

赛事一：加州国际武术锦标赛暨 USAWKF 功夫代表队选拔赛。比赛将于 2020 年 4 月 25 日

举行，同时美国武术联合会武术套路教练员培训班也将于赛前一周内举办。地点位于加州圣

荷西市独立高中体育馆。

赛事二：USAWKF 青少年国家武术队套路选拔赛、美国功夫代表队选拔赛和全国武术套路

锦标赛。比赛将于 2020 年 6 月 20 至 21 日举行，比赛地点位于加州圣荷西市独立高中体育

馆。同时，泛美武术套路裁判员培训班也将于赛前一周内举办。

加州国际武术锦标赛、美国武术联合会功夫代表队选拔赛以及美国武术联合会教练员培训班

是由美国国家武术总会（USAWKF）授权，美国太极养生基金会（NTCWF）、李书东武术馆主

办的国际武赛事，适于不同国家和地区的团体与个人参加。加州国际武术锦标赛分为男女以

及不同年龄组别，设有传统武术、现代武术、健身气功、少林与太极、 以及集体与全能等

比赛。美国武术联合会功夫代表队选拔赛，将选拔出美国功夫代表队参加 2021 年泛美洲功

夫暨太极拳锦标赛和 2021 年世界功夫锦标赛。

a) 分男女, 分传统与现代, 年龄在 12 岁以下为 - 全能 A 组。

b) 分男女, 分传统与现代, 年龄在 13-18 岁之间为 - 全能 B 组。

c) 分男女, 分传统与现代, 年龄在 19-25 岁之间为 - 全能 C 组。

d) 分男女, 分传统与现代, 年龄在 26-55 岁之间为 - 全能 D 组。

e) 分男女, 分传统与现代, 年龄在 56 岁以上为 - 全能 E 组。

• 传统武术全能比赛项目中，运动员至少要报一项传统拳、一项传统短兵器或

软兵器和一项传统长兵器。才能参加传统全能比赛。

• 现代武术全能比赛项目中，运动员至少参加一项现代武术拳术、一项现在

武术短兵器和一项现代武术长兵器，方可参加现代武术全能的比赛。

4) 健身气功和太极拳类全能分组

a) 全能 F 组: 分男女, 年龄在 25 岁及以下。

b) 全能 G 组: 分男女, 年龄在 26-55 岁之间。

c) 全能 H 组: 分男女, 年龄在 56 岁以上。

运动员至少要报名太极拳和健身气功类的一套拳术和一套器械项目。所有全能项目

的不单独进行比赛，而是将运动员每类项目比赛的最高分之和来评选。

7. 竟赛要求

1. 时间要求

1) 十八岁以下传统和现代武术项目，时间不足不扣分。

2) 十八岁以上传统武术套路时间不超过2分钟，十八岁以上的现代武术规定和自选拳术、

器械时间不少于1分20秒。

3) 武术对练项目不少于40秒。太极拳、械对练，3-5分种。

4) 太极拳类、集体太极拳类、健身气功的个人或集体项目: 3-6分钟，4分钟时裁判长

鸣哨提示。太极对练不超过5分钟

5) 太极器械 2－4分钟, 3分钟时裁判长鸣哨提示。

2.音乐要求

1) 所有配乐不得使用含有口令、词的音乐

2) 所有集体项目均需配乐

3) 太极拳和健身气功比赛项目的配乐由大会选择（不一定为套路原配音乐）

3.分组与合并

1) 每个年龄组人数不足4人时，该组将合并至类似比赛项目或高一年龄组比赛

2) 每组人数超过12人时，将平均分为A组和B组进行比赛。

4. 集体项目要求

集体类比赛无年龄与性别限制, 人数不少于 6人, 可报多个集体项目。

5. 比赛服装必须按照 2019 年国际武术联合会锦标赛规则要求，比赛器械不做要求。

8. 竟赛规则

1. 大会期间的所有赛事均为单项比赛，不设团体总分比赛。

2. 武术比赛采用国际武术联合会审定的 2019年《国际武联竞赛规则》及本规程的有关规

定。传统项目的比赛将按照2012年传统武术竟赛规则和本章程的规定。

3. 健身气功比赛采用国家体育局健身气功管理中心审定的《健身气功交流展示竞赛评分方

法与标准》及本规程的有关规定。

4. 竞赛规程和规则的最终解释权属于本次比赛的组委会; 对竞赛规程和规则的英文解释有

争议时, 则以中文版为准。

9. 名次、奖励

1. 个人项目和集体项目比赛成绩以得分高低排列名次。报名人数超过 10 人的奖励前 8名,

不足 10 人或 10 人者减 2 录取, 不足 5 人或 5 队时减 1 录取， 得分相等时并列，个人

单项前 3 名的运动员颁发奖杯和证书。

2. 全能项目根据各年龄组报名的不同要求，分别以两项或三项单项的最高分之和排名

（具体要求参看全能项目的报名要求）前三名颁发全能奖杯和证书。

3. 集体比赛的团体可获一个集体奖杯，参加运动员获证书。

4. 第一次参赛者：凡是首次参加的运动员可以得到参与奖证书。

5. 美国武术联合会功夫代表队选拔办法：参加选拔赛的运动员，在加州国际武术锦标赛的

传统项目、现代武术项目和太极拳项目中，获得前3名或者；个人项目得分在8分以上

者，可以获选美国功夫代表队，颁发获选证书，并将有机会参加2021年世界功夫锦标赛

和泛美洲功夫暨太极拳锦标赛。

10. 比赛费用

1. 个人单项、对练比赛报名费 $60美金/个人, 每项比赛$25美金。

2. 集体比赛项目$25美金每人。

3. 全能比赛项目,美国功夫国家队选拔赛费用，各$50美金。

4. 比赛门票$20美金／天, 儿童10岁以下免费。

11. 报名办法与要求

1. 比赛报名团体报名于2020年2月12日开始至4月12日结束，提前报名优惠截止时间：2020

年3月14日前报名，费用 60 美元，每项 25 美元。提前报名的运动员可免费获得一张价值

$20。4月12日以后将不再接受任何报名。也可以通过网路报名：网址 www.GoWushu.com

2. 美国武术联合会功夫代表队选拔，必须网站上点选选拔赛或在报名表上选择传统武术

队。比赛报名截止时间：邮寄报名以邮戳为准，网路报名以完成付费为准。

3. 不接受逾期报名, 报名截止后, 已报名的运动员如须更改报名项目, 则必须向组委会

申请, 在组委会同意后交纳罚金方可改动和补报参赛项目, 每改动或补报一项需要交

付$35罚金。

4. 运动员因故不能参加的报名费用不退，支票退回的需补交$35美金罚款。

5. 每个团体可报领队1人, 教练员2人。运动员,教练员和领队可凭证件出入无需购票、教

练员和领队需在报名截止前向组委会申报。15人以上的团队可申报一名随队裁判,要

求有裁判证书或裁判经验，由大会确认后可担任比赛裁判。

6. 参加人员须自行办理人身意外伤害保险, 并须填写并签名比赛的免责声明方可报名。网

路报名时必须点选同意我们的网路免责声明方可进入报名系统报名。

12. 抽签与确认

a) 运动员、家长或教练员应在2020年4月14日上午9点至晚上12点之间到比赛网站

www.Gowushu.com 上抽签，抽取运动员在每一组的上场顺序。如果运动员没能及时抽

签，比赛报名系统将自动生成参赛的号码顺序。

b) 在抽签之前应当在此确认比赛项目、年龄性别、以及收否报名了全能和传统选拔等信

息，并保存抽签结果的顺序截图，用来对照顺序。除项目改动可能影响极少部分比赛顺

序的调整外，抽签结果将作为比赛的最终上场顺序。4月14日以后组委会将不再做任何改

动。

c) 抽签以后，组委会会尽快将比赛秩序册电子版发送给运动员也会在比赛网站上显示。如

果需要纸质的比赛秩序册，可在报道时候在报道处购买。

13. 报到和酒店入住

1. 比赛报到：各队的运动员应在比赛的前一至两天，到比赛指定酒店（TBD）报到处或组委

会办公室（KungFuDirect 1040 1040 Commercial Street #108, San Jose, CA 95112，

Telephone: 408-582-8269），统一领取比赛信息。

2. 指定酒店：参赛人员可通过比赛网站统一办理指定酒店入住。团体价格的酒店房间数量

有限，将根据酒店预订顺序优先办理。指定酒店办理截止日期为3月14日。

区和美国地区的武术发展。也为加州今后加州国际武术锦标赛的发展提供了新的助力。

2020 年加州国际武术锦标赛的比赛内容包括，传统武术、竞技武术、太极拳剑、

集体和对练等多种项目，适合不同不同年龄、不同水平以及不同国家和地区的武术团体和

运动员参加。参赛运动员的人数在 800 人以上。同期举行的美国功夫武术队选拔赛要求参

赛运动员必须是美国公民或永久居民，教练员培训班必须为美国公民、永久居民或拥有在

美合法工作签证，并为美国武术联合会会员。功夫选拔赛将以加州国际武术锦标赛的成绩

为准，运动员有任何一个项目排名在前三名或得分在 8分以上的即可获选并有资格参加

《第九届世界功夫锦标赛》和《第四届泛美洲传统武术锦标赛》。

You are cordially invited to you attend the 2020 Golden State International Wushu

Championships, USAWKF Traditional Team Trials and USAWKF Coach Certification Course. The

tournaments will be held on April 25 at Independence High School (Main Gym) in San Jose, California.

The coach course will be held one week before the tournaments.

On October 20, 2019, at Shanghai, during the 15th World Wushu Championship, USAWKF won

the bid to be the host organization for the 16th World Wushu Championship. This world class, high level

competition, will have a profound impact on the development of Wushu sports in the United States and

North America.

In order to prepare for the 16th World Wushu Championship in 2021 and the World Junior Wushu

Championship as well as the Pan American Junior Wushu Championship, the 2020 Golden State

International Wushu Championships and USAWKF Junior Wushu Team Trials local organization

committees will be hosting the following event to encourage wushu development in the US.

The Golden State International Wushu Championships were first held in 2009, this will the 10th

annual event serving the wushu communities. We appreciate all your support and appreciation. We are

proud to say that the event has grown over the last couple of years with over 550 athletes and 2,000

people in attendance at each exciting event. The Golden State International Wushu Championships is

becoming one of the largest wushu events in the United States.

These Team Trials, Championships are hosted by the United States of America Wushu-Kungfu Federation (USAWKF), and organized by the Li’s Wushu Academy and National Tai Chi Wellness Foundation (NTCWF). Hereafter, USAWKF, Li’s Wushu, NTCWF collectively are referred to as the Organizing Committee.
