VESTAMID® HTplusTaking the Heat
Evonik Industries AG is the creativeindustrial group from Germany focusedon chemicals, energy and real estate.Evonik is a global leader in specialtychemicals.Together with the Acrylic Monomersand Acrylic Polymers Business Lines, the High Performance Polymers Busi-ness Line is part of the PerformancePolymers Business Unit, and specializesin customized products and productsystems. We have been producing high-performance plastics for over 40 years. The extension, with polyphthalamide(PPA), into the field of HT polymersrepresents a logical expansion of ourproduct portfolio.
AutomotiveFor many years, we have maintained astrong presence in the automotive marketin all areas of expertise such as assembly, coating, polymer engineering, and rein-forcement. Increased temperatures andweight reduction are the factors drivingdesign decisions in the industry. Becauseof its excellent high-temperature and chemical resistance, PPA is moving intofocus for all kinds of applications, injectedas well as extruded.
Industrial Technology/AppliancesVESTAMID® HTplus has unique charac-teristics, such as its resistance towardaggressive chemicals. It is suitable forapplications involving direct contact withdrinking water and food.
Electrics and ElectronicsVESTAMID® HTplus is not only high-temperature resistant but also has highdimensional stability and wear resistance.
It is therefore the material of choice for the electronics industry, where the trendtoward miniaturization is placing higherdemands on the materials used.
Our products are tailorable to meet thedemands of your application. Come and talk to us!

VESTAMID® HTplus M —Injection MoldingVESTAMID® HTplus represents a signif-icant advance in high-temperature poly-amide polymers. The combination of highstrength, heat stability, and chemical sta-bility provides a material to solve your most challenging problems for engineeredproducts. Standard unfilled grades andbasic injection molding grades with glassfiber content of up to 60% represent thestarting point for development of special-ty grades.
VESTAMID® HTplus R—direct bondingto RubbersOur latest development exploits the highheat deflection temperature and dimen-sional stability of VESTAMID® HTplus andadds the special functionality of allowingdirect bonding to a variety of elastomers.Cost reductions are achieved throughreduction of the number of processes, elimination of adhesives, and decrease incycle times.
Our standard grades are available asblack and natural colored granules packed in bags. Should you have speci-fic requirements, please do not hesitateto contact us.
