My FMP will be an afternoon style radio show for 16 to 24 year olds on their way home from school, college or work

It will play lots of popular music and classic hits. They will generally be easy listening songs that everyone can enjoy.

I will talk a little bit about each song and the band any upcoming albums, tours gigs etcetera.

as well as this I will include a phone in competition and news weather and travel updates.

THE IDEA

RESEARCH As I've already said my FMP will be an afternoon style radio

show targeted at 16 to 24 year olds on their way home from school work or college.

In the research I conducted I found that most 16-24 year olds when asked said that they listen to the radio through there phone.

How the websites where helpful.

BBC radio 1 was helpful because I could listen to previous shows see how they where planned out what sort of items where in the show itself

like news weather and travel updates and chances for th audience to interact with the presenters in the studio.

The big top 40 helped me to choose some current music that is popular at the moment as well as looking back at previous top 40s and charts from around the world to find lots of suitable and enjoyable music.

Absolute radio was helpful for choosing when my show was broadcast. Absolute radio along with heart and magic FM and most radio stations have a drive time show at around 5pm but from midday to 5pm have there own unique shows meaning there is no generic show in this space. My show begins at 3:30 giving plenty of time until 5pm.

The Prize will be cinema voucher for the Odeon and a tour of the

infuse radio studios

PRESENTERS AND GUESTS

I will be the only presenter on the show.

There will be one guest on the competition feature of the show this will be pre recorded the guest being my mother.

Script writing/playlist - Friday 15th may – Sunday 19th may

Competition pre-record Monday 20th may

Recording Tuesday /Wednesday 21st/22nd of may (depending when studio available)

PROBLEMS

My major problems where with creating the promotional poster

I was originally using Microsoft word then decided to use Photoshop instead the poster was much better on photoshop.
