still find excellent wild trout fishing and prolific fly hatches. We have access to some of the most beautiful areas the river Itchen has to offer. Whether you want to target brown trout and grayling or salmon and sea trout further down stream,

we can cater to all.Wading in this gin clear water is a wonderful

experience which should not be missed.

This unspoiled part of the English countryside located just outside of Dorchester is in the heart of Thomas Hardy country.

The river Frome, is, without doubt, one of southern England’s finest chalkstream fisheries. This river has classic chalkstream features including riffles,

pools, plenty of glides and overhanging trees, great sight fishing in crystal clear water. The Frome offers unbelievable fly fishing for wild brown trout and monster

grayling that you write home about, dry fly fishing at its best! These trout and grayling need delicate presentation and a slow approach when trying your

hand at catching them.

The River Anton

This river has always excited me. It is one of my favourite rivers in Hampshire. I have grown up on this water and each season is as good as the last. It joins the Test just five kilometres north of Stockbridge.

There is a great amount of fly and wildlife along the meadows of this river. If you walk the banks quietly there is always a chance to see rare wildlife you may never have seen before. The Anton, with its pristine and clear water, hungry trout

and grayling, is perfect for a memorable day’s fishing.

The River Kennet

We have up to two miles of narrow challenging water on the river Kennet outside Hungerford. Offering a nice variety of water with a few exciting bends and weirs holding the odd monster trout. Light tackle and delicate presentation is quite essential when trying your hand at fishing this area of the Kennet for brown trout and grayling.

The Kennet is perfect for getting your accuracy tuned and you may lose a few flies but when you’ve mastered it, it’s a joy to fish. The estate is stocked with brown and rainbow trout. There is

also a large popluation of wild trout varying in size.

We offer guided days on the river or lake. This is a great way to learn new tips and tricks. Whether you are new to the sport or have fished for years.

It is always useful to have some local knowledge when fishing.Local knowledge is the best kind of knowledge there is. Whenever you are in a new place or new type of river, the way you fish that area can be very

different from the area you may know. You can book half days or full days with our guides. We can provide

all the kit if you need. We also, tend to have a few tricks up our sleves when the conditions get tough.

Winter Grayling Fishing

We offer grayling fishing on most of our estates on the Test, Anton and river Frome. Grayling fishing is a great way to

get out in the countryside during the winter months. The season for Grayling is from mid-October to mid-March.

The cost of a day is cheaper than the peak trout season and is a great way to get on the river to tune your fishing skills on moving

water. With the right clothing, winter fishing is good sport. Please get in touch for more details on our estates and prices for days fishing on the chalkstreams over the winter period.

All days can be guided with a few estates guided only.

able to broaden my knowledge in the field of fly fishing and country sports.Having started a photography business in 2009 and helped develop a Sporting

agent over the last 2 years. I decided to set up my own sporting adventures with the idea of getting back to hunting and fishing like we used to.
