What does this mean?

High-performance decanter technology + proper setting => cake dryness is increased by 2 %,

• e. g. from 25 % to 27%:

For a sewage plant in a town like Hamburg, Cologne or Munich:

• Amount of digested sludge with 3 % DS to be dewatered: 500,000 m³/year

• Sludge after dewatering to 25 % cake dryness : 59,100 tons /year

• Sludge after dewatering to 27 % cake dryness: 54,700 tons /year

Difference 4,400 tons/year

Cost savings based on 60 EURO per ton: 264,000 EURO per year

In 2017 actual disposal costs in Germany range from 50 to 80 EURO per ton.
