The double-insulated polyethylene

separators with glass mat lining reinforce

paste adhesion, providing superior paste

retention for longer cycle life. The

separators are microporous, allowing for

an efficient discharge and recharge —

plus, the microribbed edges dramatically

reduce the possibility of a short circuit.

SILVER ALLOY CAST POSITIVE GRIDS

Exide’s patented silver alloy cast

construction reduces corrosion under

high-heat conditions, contributing to

longer life. The efficient radial pattern of

the grids delivers quicker starts, and full

perimeter frame rails provide increased

durability. Also, the small grid “windows”

improve paste retention, a key to

increased cycles.

ROBUST HIGH-DENSITY PLATES

Plates are made with high-density, high-
