Fishing for Men #5

Fishing for men 2011. May  Dear friends, brothers and sisters, When people go out from a dark place to the light, their eyes are bothered by the light. They either have to step back into the darkness, or get adjusted to the light. It is the same for people of this world we meet. Our children are doing well; they have good relations with each other. Maja has grown up by now. Soon she is 13. She is diligent, helps a lot at home, and does well in school also. She does gymnastics and plays the flute. Tóbiás is very smart, he’s a thinker. He is thoughtful, loves nature, and plays chess excellently . He plays soccer regularly, and he is learning to play the piano. Noel has never yet stopped moving around, entertaining himself and the family; or anybody around. He turns everything he finds into a gun, a sword, or a tool. The greatest gift for him is a tool. Ági is an amazing wife and mother. It’s not easy with me. She has to do a lot in the family. When they have free time, I don’t. I’m busy every night, and I only spend the week ends with them. It is hard to keep a balance in between my family and my work. We are still learning how to do this well. I’m thankful to God for our Church. It is a wonderful fellowship. These days often times we come tog ether to plan what to do and how to accomplish it. In Bible school one of the courses is Practical Ecclesiology. We can see our weaknesses and our strengths there. We see areas to be fortified. We also have home bible studies that we really enjoy. The team is active and our relationships are closer and deeper. We had a play at Easter, which was done by a professional drama director, called Mark’s drama. We had a total of 15 actors from the neighboring Baptist church and ours. It meant a lot for all of us; for the actors and the audience as well. It was fantastic! Watch it, or participate in it, if you get a chance!

Fishing for men

2011. May

Dear friends, brothers and sisters,

When people go out from a dark place to the light, their eyes are bothered by the light. They either have to step back into the darkness, or get adjusted to the light. It is the same forpeople of this world we meet.

Our children are doing well; they have good relations with each other.Maja has grown up by now. Soon she is 13. She is diligent, helps a lot at home, and does well in school also. She doesgymnastics and plays the flute.Tóbiás is very smart, he’s a thinker. He is thoughtful, loves nature, and plays chess excellently. He plays soccerregularly, and he is learning to play the piano.Noel has never yet stopped moving around, entertaininghimself and the family; or anybody around. He turnseverything he finds into a gun, a sword, or a tool. The greatest gift forhim is a tool.Ági is an amazing wife and mother. It’s not easy with me. She has to do a

lot in the family. When they have free time, I don’t. I’m busy every night, and I only spendthe week ends with them.It is hard to keep a balance in between my family and my work. We arestill learning how to do this well.

I’m thankful to God for our Church. It is a wonderfulfellowship. These days oftentimes we come together to planwhat to do and how to accomplish it. In Bible school one of

the courses is Practical Ecclesiology. We can see ourweaknesses and our strengths there. We see areas to befortified.

We also have home bible studies that we really enjoy. The team is active and ourrelationships are closer and deeper. Our band’s web page is done!http://www.fkfsz.hu/Look at it, and distribute it; that we could take the Gospel to many places! We are expecting some comments and feedback. What do you think of the page?We have many new songs; we are planning to make a new cd. For this we plead for your prayersand financial support!

In Andocs more and more are coming

out to our meetings. Most of them come from Karád, which

is about 6mi from Andocs. We had to do 3carloads of people before and after the biblestudies; so we finally figured it would beeasier to do the bible study in Karád.

We didn’t have to think of this too much, because the mayor announced to cancel ourcontract to rent the room we used for the studies. She said it was because of the attacks shehad to face because of us. It turned out quite quickly, that it was the priest preaching against

us, stirring up some in authority amongst the leaders of the village.Jani and I have visited both the priest and the mayor, and the conversations went well. For practical reasons we moved to Karád, but we didn’t want to leave Andocs with doors closed. We love the people there!

We live in a dark world, and Jesus is the Light, Who lives in us. His light in us bothersthe eyes of those living in darkness. This is why we have the resistance. But it is recognition forme; it shows we are not neutral in the eyes of the world.

So we come together now in Karád. In the culture center there is a movie theater room, withy about 120 seats. We pray that by the end of this year the room would be filled up withborn again believers. Only about 75-80 more people to go! Please pray for this as well!

Now I need more time there, to help people learn how to share their faith, and how toreceive the new visitors. They often wonder why not everybody would get saved right away. They need time and investment. Therefore I go more often to encourage the brothers andsisters; that they themselves would meet more often to pray and help each other. There is agreat need for a van to help people get to the meetings.

Please pray for the farms to start; that would provide for living for the brothers,

sisters and the people of the village there.

Because of all these, I can only go to Nagykanizsa once in a while. I have encouragedthem to come to the services in Kaposvár, as often as they can. There are couple of new

believers there, too. One of them is Tomi. He’s a kind and enthusiastic young man. They reallyneed a local church; please pray for them, too!

Once again, we thank you for your support in prayer, finances, helping with clothes, food, words that build us up.We do need those as we would like to continue this workintensely.
