• Place the play quilt print side up on a flat surface.• Fit the two straps on each side of the play quilt down

through the slots in the supports. Make sure the tab at theend of each strap forms a “T” under the support. Pull up onthe play quilt to be sure it is secure to the supports.

• Fit the two small fastener straps on each end of the tubesthrough the slots inside the circular opening in the sup-ports. Fasten the fastener straps together to secure thetubes to the supports.

• Locate the longest activity toy strap on the tubes.• Flatten the first tab on the longest activity toy strap.• Insert the strap through the slot in the top of the

chicken activity toy. Make sure the tab at the end of thestrap forms a “T” under the slot.

• Pull firmly on the chicken activity toy to be sure it is secure.Hint: To adjust the height of the chicken activity toy, flatteneach tab as you pull the strap through the slot. When thetoy is the desired height, make sure a tab forms a “T”behind the slot. Pull firmly on the toy after each adjustmentto be sure the toy is secure.• Spin the roller ball on the chicken activity toy to hear a

friendly tune and see flashing lights!• Fasten the remaining activity toys to the Velcro fasteners

on the activity toy straps.

• Place the play quilt print side up on a flat surface.• Attach the activity toys to the straps on the sides of the

play quilt and place the toys on top of the quilt.• Locate the fastener strap at one end of the play quilt. Place

the supports and tubes at the opposite end of the play quiltand roll the play quilt from end to end.

• Fit the fastener strap through the loop on the outside of theplay quilt and fasten to close.

Activity Toy Straps

• Slide the tubes through the sleeves in each side of theplay quilt.

• Position the supports so that the sides with the slotsface inward.

• Fit the two small fastener straps on each end of thetubes through the slots inside the circular openings inthe supports. Fasten the fastener straps together tosecure the tubes to the supports.

• Fit the plastic tabs at the corners of the play quilt intothe slots in the supports.

• Fasten the activity toys to the activity toy straps.

• Locate the battery compartment door on the back of thechicken activity toy.

• Loosen the screw in the battery compartment door with aPhillips screwdriver. (The screw will remain in the door.)

• Lift the battery compartment door to open.• Remove the used batteries and dispose of them properly.• Insert two new button-cell (LR44 or equivalent) alkaline

batteries in the battery compartment as shown. Make surethe flat side of each battery (printed with the battery desig-nation) faces up.

Helpful Hint: We recommend using alkaline batteries forlonger battery life.• Replace the battery compartment door and tighten the

screw with a Phillips screwdriver. Do not over-tighten.• When lights or sounds from this toy become faint or stop

working, it’s time to replace the batteries!

• Never short circuit the battery terminals.• Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.• Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recom-

• Machine-wash the play quilt in cold water on the gentlecycle. DO NOT use bleach. Tumble dry on low heat.

• Surface wash the tubes, activity toys and supports with amild cleaning solution.

• This toy has no consumer serviceable parts. Please do nottake this toy apart.
