For over 100 years now our company has devo-ted itself to building with wood. The expertise and knowledge gathered throughout the years allowed us to reach a level of quality meeting and exceeding the high expectations of our sophisticated clientele.

Our comprehensive quality assurance includes the careful selection of materials, the individual plan-ning and design, the pre-manufacturing process in our factory in Hartenfels, the basement construc-tion, the finishing of interiors and last but not least the professional support and project management for our clients before and throughout the build process. Furthermore, we work closely with our clients to ensure that their personal interior design require-ments or some built-in furniture solutions from our sister company StilART are fulfilled. The latest mile stone on our journey is the HUF HAUS trade mark “green(r)evolution” establishing itself quickly as a widely successful model for innovative and energy efficient post and beam architecture.

The standard configuration of every new HUF HAUS build includes all product attributes of “green(r)evo-lution”, thus corresponding to the KfW-classifica-tion efficiency house 55. Upon further request HUF houses can also be designed as plus-energy-houses.

When developing the energy-efficiency of HUF hou-ses we committed ourselves to prioritising the ex-ceptionally low energy consumption of our designs whilst not compromising on the vast proportion of glass. This target has been achieved by the HUF en-gineers with a high level of initiative and commit-ment. §HUF HAUS have a long experience in structural timber protection. Chemical wood protection on the exterior is limited to what is required by law. The interior timber is decorated exclusi-vely in a water-based coating without biocide components.

§The use of CNC controlled production machi-nes guarantees the correct translation of plans into production and maximum accuracy for all components.

§HUF HAUS is a member of all important quality control associations for timber construction and research societies.
