Splitting knives and robust fasteningThe splitting knives have a sturdy back support and

hydraulic adjustment of height as standard. In order to

simplify the replacement of the knives, the knives are

brought to the top position before they are released and

replaced. Extra knife bracket No 141209272 can be attached

to the chassis for placing extra splitting knife. In addition

to 6 part splitting knife which is standard 4 – 6 and 10

part splitting knives are delivered. The 10 part splitting

knife (in the middle) requires 11 tons splitting force and

“uncomplicated” material to be split. In addition to 6 part

splitting knives, which is standard, even 4-part and 8 part

knives are supplied as accessories.

Remote feed belt runThis handle at the end on the feed belt makes the

feed belt run. The operator can position himself here

and activated the feed function and “handshake”

difficult logs – that is making them enter the feed belt.

High cutting capacityThe sword is custom made by a leading manufacturer

according to our specifications. This ensures great

chain speed and that the sword is dimensioned

for considerable loads. The saw chain is a so-called

forestry machine chain of high quality designed for

great speeds and continual loads.

Service friendlyBoth covers in front can be opened by screw driver or

similar. The same for the big cover situated at the tractor

side. This simplifies the access for systematic cleaning

and maintenance.

Stepless setting of cutting lengthRobust log stoppers with possibility for stepless setting

and with visible and durable ruler to show the cutting

length.

The log stopper may also be angled upwards in order to

provide free space if required.

Big and visible tank (5 litres) for chain lubricant. The chain

lubrication is adjustable and is only active during cutting.

The motors have built in termistor fuse disconnecting power

when overheated.

This protects the motor against damage when overloaded or

Outlet tube Ø100 mm diameter. Total length 3000 mm. Powered by hydraulic

motor. Loading height mx. 2200mm. Runs parallel with the conveyor belt

drive. Can be “after” fitted to previous version of VM420 model.

Substantial air flow quantity ensures chip transfer during any condition.

The feed screw ensures a very dependable chip transport compared to fan

systems. This system also tolerates moist material. The screw is powered

by hydraulic motor fed by the machines hydraulic system. All necessary

coupling and hoses are standard.
