Pinewood Panther Players Tentative Calendar Spring 2019

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT REHEARSALS, DRESS REHEARSALS & PERFORMANCES

REHEARSALS

• IF YOUR STUDENT MISSES A REHEARSAL, PLEASE GIVE MRS. CLOUTIER A NOTE IN WRITING. Emergencies happen, and things come up. However, if your student misses too many rehearsals (more than 3) they will be removed from the group unless a valid reason is provided IN WRITING. • A strong commitment to the Musical is required. Every member of the Pinewood Panther Players is crucial to the show. We are a Team. This cannot be more strongly stressed. Members must attend all scheduled rehearsals. • The final 14 days before our performance, it is critical that all cast members attend all rehearsals. Please refer to the rehearsal schedule. Students may be removed from an acting role or the entire program if too many rehearsals are missed…excused or not.

DRESS REHEARSALS Dress Rehearsals are mandatory! These rehearsals are where students work with costumes, props, and gain valuable confidence in

their performance. Students who miss dress rehearsals may be removed from the group. If your student must miss a dress rehearsal for any reason, please make sure to send a text message, email or a written parent letter to Mrs. Cloutier

(Arrival Times, Costumes, and other information for the May 8th Showtime will be given at a later date.)

PERFORMANCES • All students are expected to participate in a final performance. • The absence of one student for a performance causes a problem for the entire chorus and drama production. • There are at least 2 mandatory performances a year- Winter Show and Spring Show. Students must be present at all 3 of these performances to remain in the group. If a performance is missed, Mrs. Cloutier must receive a valid explanation IN WRITING. This explanation must be received either the day before or day after the missed performance. There may be optional performance added to the calendar as requests are received throughout the year, however, these performances will not be mandatory.
