Senator Taddeo spoke to Bill Whitaker

about a report that explained how the

Russians stole critical information from

the Democratic Congressional Campaign

Committee (DCCC) in 2016 and

disseminated it to undermine political

candidates in 2016

-Bill Whitaker: You describe South

Florida as rough and tumble. But this

seems to ratchet it up a notch?

-Annette Taddeo: We've seen a lot here.

But this was, this was a foreign

government. This was so much bigger.

You know, I've been told by a lotta people, "You should stop talking about this. It's

really not good for you politically to remind people that you lost." But I refuse to stop

talking about it. Because, again, if it can happen to me, it can happen to anyone. And

it didn't happen to me: It happened to our democracy.

Sen. Taddeo and Rep. Sam Killebrew held a press

conference to announce bipartisan legislation to end

deceptive Rent-to-Own Pet Leasing. Sen. Taddeo issued the

following statement: "To many of us, our pets are part of

our family. Once they are home with us, I can’t fathom

being forced to choose between making a monthly lease

payment or having the pet repossessed."
